You need a friend

Sasori and Deidara headed downstairs as they heard nothing. No noise coming from the hallways. No Hidan screaming. That was the most surprising.

They both headed into Pein's office as the rest of the Akatsuki sat around the hardness table and (of course) Pein sat at the head of the table.

"I'm going to make this meeting short and simple. Just a question is all" said Pein.

"That's it?!" yelled Hidan.

"Tobi thinks you should be quiet" said Tobi.

"All of you shut up" said Pein.

"Okay. How many of you are in some sort of a relationship with another member of the Akatsuki?" asked Pein.

The majority raised their hands except for Tobi (Because he was a good boy) and Zetsu (because no one wants to see what's beyond that weed cover thing.)

"Okay. Everyone say who you're with right now" said Pein.

He wrote down a quick list of all the couple and  possible couples there could be.

Itachi and Kisame
Deidara and Sasori
Hidan and Kakuzu
Pein and Konan

"Okay so um... I guess I'm the only one who's straight..." said Pein.

"Feel the rainbow" said Tobi.

"Okay you're all dismissed" said Pein.

The rest of the Akatsuki other than Pein were confused as to why that meeting was held but of course, no one really minded that much.

"Danna" said Deidara.

"Yeah?"

"You said we were a couple" said Deidara grinning.

Sasori rolled his hazel eyes.

"I meant possible couple Deidara" said the red head.

"Whatever you say Danna" said Deidara.

"Hey Deidara" said Sasori.

"Yeah?"

"You seem better. Do you think we could go on a mission in a few weeks?" asked Sasori.

"Yeah sure un!"

Deidara slowly walked down the stairs as he saw someone huddled in the corner of the hallway, covering themselves with an Akatsuki cloak.

Deidara slowly and quietly approached the person in the corner and then saw Kisame walk out of his shared room with Itachi.

"Oh hey Deidara. Already walking I see. What's up?" he asked.

The blonde bomber was suspicious of Kisame, for he was blocking Deidara's view of the person in the corner.

"Not much. Who's that in the corner?" asked the blonde.

"Uh... I suggest you don't go near the person.
They need some alone time" said Kisame.

Deidara quickly shifted his eyes to Kisame's open door and saw Itachi in there.

It's not Itachi thought the bomber. He pondered who it could be as Kisame slowly returned to his room and locked the door.

Deidara decided to ignore Kisame's so called "suggestion" and headed closer the the person.

He then heard Hidan yell at nothing so it couldn't be Hidan.

Deidara was inches away from this person so he took a risk and tapped the person's shoulder.

The person sniffled.

"W-who are you un?" asked Deidara.

The person removed the cloak and revealed that it was Konan.

Her eyes were drenched in tears and her eyes were blood red.

"What's wrong un?!"

Konan sobbed as Deidara tried to quiet her down, not only to prevent her from bringing Kisame but to prevent from everyone else hearing her as well.

"Konan, if you don't tell me what's wrong I can't help un" said the bomber.

Konan cried into Deidara's shoulder as Deidara comfortingly hugged her and patted her back.

"Okay. Slowly tel me what happened un."

"O...Okay."
