"I'm sorry Konan I don't think I heard you correctly" said Sasori.

"You're telling me that the one that's black and blue on the face who was beaten to a pulp was Deidara?!" said Sasori with his voice breaking.

"Mmhm" whispered Konan.

Sasori slammed the door as he left the room in a rage as Itachi looked over at Deidara.

"Danna..." whispered Deidara.

"Do you want me to bring him?" asked Ktachi.

Deidara attempted to nod but it hurt to nod. So instead he replied with a simple "yes."

Sasori came back into the room and lied on the floor next to Deidara.

"I told you that you'd get hurt you idiot! Don't you ever listen!" yelled Sasori.

Deidara laughed softly. "I listen when I need to Danna."

Sasori sighed. He hated it when Deidara was hurt and making jokes.

Suddenly, Hidan walked in.

"Hey Konan, did that guy have black hair?" asked Hidan.

Konan nodded.

"Blue eyes?"

Another nod.

"Pale skin?"

One more nod.

"Oh okay" he said.

"Why?" she asked.

"Nothing much. I just killed him is all" he said.

Deidara sighed and smiled at Hidan saying this, and Hidan gave him a thumbs up.

"Ya know kid, you're pretty gutsy" said Hidan.

"No kidding" said Deidara.

Deidara headed into Kakuzu's room and decided to grab a couple hundred for something.

Shortly after, Kakuzu walked in.

"What do you think you're doing?!" he yelled.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I just need a couple hundred" said Deidara.

"Pein gave you and Sasori a mission. If ya complete it, I'll give ya 500" he said.

"More" said Deidara.

Kakuzu laughed. "Don't push it kid" he said.

Deidara rolled his eyes and left the room, heading to Pein's office.

"Ah Deidara you're here. Your mission is to capture the Jinchuriki of Shukaku. He's in the sand. Go" he said.

Deidara and Sasori left hastily, hurrying si they could get there quickly and finish the mission.

Deidara smiled.

"Ugh. What is it now brat?" asked Sasori.

"It's just that we haven't been on a mission together in a while Danna" said Deidara.

Sasori sighed as the two continued to jump from tree to tree.

"Danna how long will it take us to get there?" asked Deidara.

"A day" he said.

The two tried to cover as much ground as possible before sundown. They tried to at least be near the border of the Leaf and Sand.

"Alright Danna! Let's go in that cave over there!" said Deidara, pointing to a cave in the distance.
