The "awaited" mission

(Still in Deidara's POV)

I saw Zetsu emerge from the top of the cave. It's always creeping me out when he does that. Can't he give a warning or something.

"Hello Deidara" said Zetsu.

"Zetsu! Zetsu! Zetzu! Danna was taken by a bunch of ninja and-"

"Relax Deidara we all know" said Zetsu.

"So what are we gonna do?" I asked.

"Well one things for certain, we won't be getting him back anytime soon. You aren't going to find him. Konan and Pein will" said Zetsu.

"Well what am I gonna do?" I asked.

"Since this week is Kisame's break, Itachi will be your partner for this week. And the next" said Zetsu.

"HOW COME WHEN I ASKED FOR A BREAK EXTENSION YOU NEVER GAVE IT TO ME?!" I yelled.

Zetsu laughed.

"No comment. Head back to the base. Itachi's been waiting for a while" said Zetsu.

(Third POV)

Deidara followed Zetsu back to the base and headed up the stairs. He headed to the hallway where his and Sasori's room was across fro Itachi and Kisame's.

"It's about time" said Itachi.

Deidara scoffed.

"What's our mission?" asked Deidara.

"Relax. You need to wait until we get one" said Deidara.

"I think we are going to get one in five minutes" said Deidara.

"I don't think so Deidara. Unless your name is Google and I'm pretty sure it isn't, dont act like you know everything" said Itachi.

Deidara hated Itachi when he said something rude and pretended like it was nothing. However, when Deidara would get hurt, Itachi was like a brother to him (with some rivalries) which was why Deidara didn't completely hate him.

Itachi sat on his bed and put his elbows on his knees. He covered some of his face with his hands.

"You okay Itachi?" asked Deidara.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm tired" said Itachi.

After half an hour of waiting for freakin Zetsu to come give them a mission, that creepy weed guy cane through THE DOOR.

"You okay Zetsu?" asked Deidara.

"Do I look like I'm not?" he asked.

"Well you used the door..." said Deidara.

Zetsu rolled his eyes.

"Alright you two. You're gonna go to the Leaf village. Just find the nine tails' location. Let me know when. That's all" said Zetsu.

Deidara and Itachi headed out of the base and started walking.

"So uh, are we gonna start running?" asked Deidara.

"No. We don't have a time span. Why run?" said Itachi.

"But if we finish the mission quickly, we can get a good one" said Deidara.

Itachi activated his Sharingan. He sighed.

"Alright. Let's go" he said.
