Asher and I head into Leap Frogs Fro Yo Shop, the best frozen yogurt place in the country. As I enter through the door Asher is holding open, the bell rings signaling that someone has entered. I see all of the employees eyes fix on my face, but it's weird to not see a sense of recognition pass over there faces. The don't realize I'm the queens sister. This will be so much fun!

Asher and I head over to the machines to fill up our bowls and he stops me.

"Wait," he says. "What if we each got each other's yogurt bowls. That way we can see how much we either do or don't know about each other."

"Okay..." I say, not totally bought on the idea. I have very specific taste buds and only I know what I like. I try and pick out Asher's as best as I can. I choose Cookies and Cream yogurt and put sprinkles, cookie dough, and m&ms on it. To top it off, I add some chocolate sauce.

"Ohh," he says admiring the bowl I made for him. "Looks good, what's the flavor?"

"Cookies and Cream," I say pretty confidently. Who doesn't like Cookies and Cream?

"Perfect," he tells me taking his bowl. I look at what he picked out for me, a pink looking yogurt, probably strawberry, and almost every topping in the shop: sprinkles (both chocolate and rainbow), cookie dough, brownies, gummy bears, chocolate chips, strawberries, and chocolate sauce. I have to admit, he did a pretty good job.

"Yours doesn't look so bad," I tell him. "What flavor do I get?"

"Sunshine Sherbet," he answers. What kind of a name is that? "Cause your my sunshine." Aw! Ok now I like the name.

"Aw!" I say. "It looks great. I couldn't have picked out a better bowl myself." He smiles and let's out a breath, clearly nervous that I wasn't going to approve. He pays for our food and we sit down by the window. I have to admit, it's nice not having everyone recognize me and ask for a handshake, autograph, or photo. Just as I'm thinking this, I realize I thought too soon.

"Asher!" Someone says as a group of guys enter the store and the bell rings above their heads. "What's up brah? You've been AWOL since Josh's party. Is it because of this pretty chick right here?" He asks gesturing towards me. I put my head down fearing the would recognize me.

"No!" He says immediately. "Well I mean yes but not because of what your thinking. This is my cousin, Shara, and I've been showing her around town since she got here, the day after Josh's party. Her parents are on a vacation so she is staying with us for a while."

"Oh.." another on pipes in. He looks like the kind of guy you would fall in love with, ride around town on his motorcycle, and then he would break your heart. In other words, a bad boy. "So does that mean she's single?" He asks widening his eyes as he takes me in.

"No," he says almost defensively. The boys eyebrows raise. "She's in a pretty serious relationship with one of my good friends back in Belcourt."

"Ah, well mind if we join ya?" He asks. Asher doesn't have any excuse this time and the boys squeeze into our booth. I have to squeeze between the window and the guy who looks like he wants to take a bite out of me. Ew!

"Hey you look kinda familiar," one guy who I vaguely recognize from school points out. Shoot! I try to play it cool and shrug my shoulders while shaking my head. He stares at me a while longer, my heart going a million miles and minute, then gives up and turns away. I let out a tiny breath and allow my muscles to relax, well as much as they can with being squished up against a window and a class A bad boy.

So this date turned into more of a bro reunion than a date. Oh well, I guess they can't all be perfect.

"Sorry about that," he says as we are heading to the car.

"It's okay," I assure him as we take our seats. "I guess that's the price I have to pay for dating the coolest guy at school."

"I'm not the coolest," he says starting the engine but keeping the car in park. I think I know why.

"You are to me," I tell him. He smiles.

"Well, I may not be the coolest," he begins. "But your defiantly the prettiest."

I blush as he leans in for a kiss and I meet him half way. This kiss makes up for our date, or lack thereof. I don't really think it's possible to describe this kiss or how it makes me feel. It was simply magical.
