Chapter Seventeen

~Meet and Greet~

We were getting ready for the little meet and greet. Derek was really excited.

“I don’t get to do this whole free event, so this is nice; being able to interact with my people.”

I smiled; I was nervous. I’m new to this fame thing and I was still trying to get over performing. We stood where we were supposed to; Carmelo had taken Colton and were probably going home. The first girl came in; Derek was so nice,

“Hello, where would you like to stand?!”

She smiled,

“I don’t even know.”

Derek laughed,

“Why don’t you stand in the middle?”

We put our arms around each other and smiled for the picture. We got half way through and my jaw hurt so badly. Derek put his arm around me and whispered,

“We’re going to a sick party later.”

Well that sent chills down my spine. I bit my lip, Derek smiled and squeezed my hip. What was he doing to me?

~After Meet and Greet~

We finished and went to Derek’s car. It was almost ten. I was tired, but we were apparently going out. I yawned and Derek spoke,

“So, we are going too my friend Rodger’s house. There’s going to be a lot of illegal activity.”

I sighed,

“Ok.”

He put his hand on my thigh,

“We’ll have fun baby, I promise!”

I tried to smile but I really didn’t want to party tonight. Derek seemed pretty excited and I don’t want to rain on his parade, so yeah tonight should be just grand. Derek wouldn’t stop smiling, ugh why do I always care way too much about other people? Bleh. We got to Rodgers, Derek grabbed my hand. There was a lot of non famous people there. So I guess that’s fun. Derek went over to the drinks, he grabbed a beer and handed me a beer. I smiled a bit, he kissed my cheek.

“I love you baby!”

I smiled,

“Love you too.”

He walked over to his friends. Well than, I’ll just find something to do. I am the most awkward person in the world. I’m at a party I don’t want to be at with people I don’t even know. Yeah, this is great. I went over to a chair in the corner, I sat down and went on Twitter. A fan tweeted me,

@HollandGirl: Hello, @CrystalHolland how’re you doing?

I replied,

@CrystalHolland: @HollandGirl hey, I’m okay. How’s you?! BTW, love the username :D

She replied,
