A Flame's Glow

Illumi and Rias walked for a fee more minutes until they were united with Kyo who was a bit agitated with the fact his sister ran off without warning and just as he was about to say something past the crowd of people came into view Illumi who was a bit shocked to see Kyo even though he knew that Rias and he were going on the mission together as he stated back at the guild. Kyo was not happy to see Illumi and got into his face and started to speak sternly his breath hot and his voice echoing loudly. "I don't know what you're trying to pull over my sister's eyes but it won't work on me do you understand. The gold is going to us and us only so don't think just because you tag along I'm gonna let you know there will not be a single coin for your assistance so if you thought you were getting paid you can turn your ass around and head home now!" Rias stepped up and pushed her brother back trying to restrain him as he had went into a state of being overprotective once again and it was not only scary but embarrassing as well. Illumi remained unmoved, emotionless and not even a single eyelash was  bashed as the male barked at him and when he saw Rias try to restrain her brother Illumi gently gripped her shoulder stopping her. Illumi spoke up but his voice was calm and unchanged. "It's okay Rias....I understand where he's coming from and I don't blame him it's hard to trust people in this world no matter how long you've known them. Desperate peoole do desperate things and I guess that's how your brother sees me.....Desperate to get ahead in life through using you as a stepping stone. Oh well maybe I will go back home since I'm not welcome here anyway. It was nice I actually got to see you off Rias, I hope everything goes well on your job and do me a favor and come back in one piece. Rias looked at Kyo with flames nearly erupting from her eyes but soon calmed herself turned and hugged Illumi tightly speaking through his chest. "I promise I will you just keep your hands off all those new girls you understand me." Illumi hugged Rias back and chuckled softly "Wouldn't even dream of it I'll see you soon...." the hug was broken and Rias stepped onto the train Kyo right behind her and Illumi was left standing alone with a smile across his face as the train pulled away from the station.
