A Peace Of Mind

After walking for a total of 20 minutes, Illumi and Elmira came upon the beach and discovered it wasn't as populated today like the days it most often was. Several groups of people in the far distance was the only other people that could be seen from their current position which neither minded in the slightest.

"Hey Elm why did you invite me out here? I thought today was suppose to be your rest and relax day. Why bring me of all people along?" Illumi questioned as Elmira had laid out a towel and set up an umbrella to shade her body from the direct sunlight. Laying down on her back she finally responded.

“You're a man who enjoys his rest just as much as I do...and if any jerk comes harassing me or bothering us, I won't have to deal with him myself. That's where you come in." Illumi thought for a moment taking a seat at Elmira's side then finally pieced it all together laughing to himself.

“So you needed a bodyguard to handle lightwork so to speak...clever girl I respect that."

“I know you do because you'd do the same thing if the roles were reversed so I just thought like you." Elmira gave a smug smile to Illumi before closing her eyes and enjoying the calm nature that surrounded her. Illumi joined her but he sat upon his elbows once he leaned back and he sat there watching the birds pass by and water calmly crash against the sand.  Elmira begun to almost fall asleep relaxing there. She sat up and shook her head.

“I'm almost passing out. Wanna go for a swim?” she asks the male beside her. Shes giving him a look that says ‘if he says no, she's dragging him in’. Illumi notices and lets out a calm sigh.

“Finnnneee,” he starts and gets an idea. “Race you!” he says before starting to run for the water.

“Hey! You little Brat! No fair! You stood up first,” Elm shouted as she began racing after him. He turned jogging backwards, smirked at her, then turned and kept running. She ran after him but he still made it to the water first.

“Illumi one, Elmira zero,” Illumi states. Elm huffs. She get him back. She starts walks out deeper into the water loving the cool water. It was a nice day to head out. She got up to her waist then turned back to look at Illumi.

“Come on. It's a relax day,” She says to him. It's like she has a whole new attitude. Maybe it is because she's finally relaxing a bit and is away from the strict guild rules for a day. The male soon follows. What he didn’t expect was the moment he got to her side he would be pulled underwater. He surfaces to Elm laughing. Soon enough she calms.

“One one” Elm says intending to keep the tally running. The two swim for a bit floating and relaxing. Later they head back to the beach and relax on the towels they brought.

“Today was worth taking a break. Finally time to relax” Elm says sitting up. She looks. Most people had already left. Just them and one other group. The other group gave off a dark vibe. The duo had the feeling they were a dark guild but they weren’t being a bother so they’ll leave them for now.

“I suppose it was, but did you bring food? I’m starving!” Illumi says looking at her. She chuckles a bit.

“What kind of relaxing beach day would it be without food? Of course I brought food. A lot,” Elmira states pointing at a large bag with smaller bags. In said bags were varieties of food. Dried meat to some fruit to cake. She came prepared. The two dig in and start eating as the other group comes over.

“Well, well, well. It is who we thought it is. Little Miss Ex Oracion Seis. I wonder what they would give us if we brought you back all tied up and free for them to do as they please. Oh right, you still are a little seis-y. Does your current guild master know you never actually got rid of the mark, You’ve just learnt a spell to hide it.” One member, assumed the leader of that group spoke. Hearing his words made her stiffen. Illumi noticed her change in attitude and glanced at the others.

“Yeah sure, do that. If you can get through us,” Illumi states studying the group in front of him. Easy small fries. This left a few questions on the male's mind. Why was Elm so tense? She can easily handle them herself? Why is what they are saying bugging her? What was this mark thing about as well?

“Forget it Illumi… lets just head back,” Elmira states darkly starting to pack up the food she was eating.

“Scared Seis?” The leader says. The whole group had taken a step closer.

“Not at all, just waiting for the right day,” Elm states. She stands and looks at Illumi who hasn't moved and kept eating. She glares a tiny bit then looks at the others. Elmira gave in. She's going to quickly take care of them. She walks right through the group pushing some to the side. This pisses some off but that was the goal. She lead them a little ways away from Illumi before putting herself between the group and Illumi.

"What are you gonna do. Roar at us. Hit us with your best shot," one member taunted before running at her. Elmira jumps up and darker purple-maroon colour scales appear on her arms. As she hovers above at the height of her jump she unleashes her attack.

"Poison dragon scales!" She shouts as she unleashes the attack. This sent a ton of dragon scales flying towards the group at a fast all of them get at least nicked by one. Elmira turns and starts walking back to Illumi.

"That all you got Seis? Weak…" The dark leader yelled at her.

"All of you got hit by a scale. The poison is going to start going to your blood. Then. To your heart. If you don't find a healer or something to fix the poison. You'll all be dead in about and hour and half. Good luck," Elmira states to them no emotion. She returns and sits beside Illumi again as the others frantically run off.

"Guess I didn't need you today," Elm comments to Illumi who was calmly watching the others run away.

"Knew it from the start. Just decided to come anyways," Illumi adds.

"You know…I'll be leaving soon in a few days. Have a certain… Thing I need to take care of. I don't know how long it will take. I'll be gone for a while. Don't kill yourself or anyone in the guild while I'm gone. Don't destroy the guild hall either," Elmira says staring forward at the horizon where the sun is starting to go down.

"You know me too well already~ I'll make sure to get the guild hall destroyed the moment you walk back into town. You'll just see an explosion in the guilds location," Illumi replies.

"You little brat! Don't do that" Elm scold ruffling his hair roughly.

"The same goes for you too though Elmira. Don't get yourself killed."
