AN: I'm a feckin queen.
Sometimes my superiors make good decisions. This. Is not one of them. They said that I needed normality. I said that normality is a concept made up by society to invoke a feeling of belonging.
They bought my plane ticket.
So, here I am, on my way to school. In Malibu. Like what even is this town? It's a living stereotype. I've been here once before, but i prefer to block out those memories.
Bump.
My head snaps up at the jolting movement, but the driver continues to drive. Leading me to believe nothing is wrong. The car stops and Ted says "I'll take your bags to your home" I scoff. As if I will ever have a home again.
Regardless I reply, "Yeah, that works." I think Ted was expecting some sass, but I'm currently too tired and annoyed to start something with him. I'll do it when I get home. Something occurs to me "Who is watching me if you're going?" I smooth out my shirt, trying to not sound mad.
"Don't get any ideas, Simon and Isaac are coming with you." I give him my best pout, "So you'll send your twin and my cousin with me but you won't come?" He smirks, "We both know that you'll just distract any straight man that comes with you. Me especially." Oh well. I guess I do need the best possible guys with me, I'm a flight risk. "Okay, don't sleep with anybody in my house babe." I'm yelling this as I'm getting out of the car, the last thing I see is his eyes rolling as he flips me off.
I finally look up at the school and it looks rich. That means bitches all over the place, and cocky guys who think they can get whatever they want. Guess I have to school them all. I can see Simon and Isaac hanging out with some pissy looking guys. I make eye contact with Isaac and give him a smirk, which he returns. Time to ruin their whole plan. "ISAAC! OH MY GOD, IT'S BEEN LIKE FOREVER!" He just smiles and opens his arms. I'm already ready running towards him and Simon looks defeated. I jump up into Isaac's arms and he spins us around as we both laugh. "Hello darling!" Simon is so done with us both. "Don't worry I won't steal your boyfriend. One: He's my cousin. Two: Not sure I have the right parts." All the boys around us start laughing.
One yells "Yo, Simon where'd you find this one?"
I laugh, "More like where did i find them! These hoes ain't shit without me!" Simon just sighs and Isaac throws me over his shoulder. "Oh shit, well boys" I say addressing the hot specimens before me "It seems as if I did something wrong. Goodbye!" They're all laughing their asses off and to make it worse I slap Isaac's ass. They're basically on the floor by now. Isaac takes me straight to the office with Simon trailing behind.
Isaac puts my down by the door and we go into the office. The office lady doesn't even look up from her computer when we walk in.
"Name?"
Well shit, okay. "Macelyn Carem"
She gives me a sheet, "Locker 127. Combo is 8-38-12" And she's still looking at her fricking computer. Isaac sees the look on my face and subtly opens the door.
"Okay bitch, look at me when you're talking to me. Or so help me, you won't be able to look anywhere. I don't tolerate any disrespect." She looks up. "That wasn't so fucking hard, is it? Now repeat my name in your small ass brain and think. Where have I heard it before?" She looks confused. "Oh so you're a good girl then. Hm? Then why the fucking attitude? I'll be nice and give you a hint. Carem Exports." She understands now. And she's scared. "Good. Don't forget that feeling. That terror. Because the second you forget, I will fucking remind you." I take a deep breath and dust off my ripped jeans. "Ready boys?" They nod as I check my makeup and hair and we leave.
The halls are quiet because everyone heard what just happened. I'd bet that Simon held down the announcement button. We wanted to be feared. The boys want it for my protection. I on the other hand. I want that feeling. I love looking into other's eyes and seeing absolute terror. It's what I live for. "Boys I'm not feeling class right now" Simon groans, seeing where this is headed. "Call those lovely boys you were with and we can go smoke on the hills.
"Bu-" he tries to object, but I interrupt.
"I could escape right now and you will never hear from me again. Don't test someone who has nothing to live for. You know better than anyone that I do NOT care about anyone or anything. Now get me some weed and a hot guy. Dismissed." I head over to the hills that I know are behind the school. There are already some kids there. Forgetting. Just like I am about to do.

I'm sitting in this one guy's lap, drinking something, which I think is moonshine, trying to forget my life. Someone lights up a joint and I reached for it. "Aren't you the new girl?" The guy beside me asks. "Yeah, now hand me the joint" They looked confused. "Look, if you don't hand it to me, I'll just go find it somewhere else." Then my voice drops as does any and all emotion from my face. "But I'll promise you this: You will pay for my trouble."
Some girl hands it to me. And the guy below me says "Dammit, I'm hard now. That was hot as shit." I look over my shoulder at him and realize he is indeed not my type. Sending a quick text to Ted to get me out of here. I look up from my phone and that's when I see them. The reporters. They're everywhere. "Oh shit. Gotta go kids." I yell back as I run towards my house. How did they find me. Someone must've tweeted or something. There has to be a leak somewhere. It's happened too many times lately. First about the accident, and now this?
