CONFESSION
Youngmi stood by the café's entrance to wait for Ten as they agreed they would discuss their plans for the competition today.
It had already been a week since their coach announced that they were to be partners for the competition and told them when and where it was.
Youngmi worried for how they were going to practice and honestly Ten did too but Youngmi worried more for how they were going to interact during practices.
The two finally decided to meet at 6am in the café after seeing each other coincidentally a day ago infront of the school Youngmi attended.
Meanwhile, Lucas was inside, working part time. His eyes darted towards the large glass door, noticing a familiar figure outside of the café. He knew right away that it was his best friend.
In a few minutes, the boy's shift would end but after noticing that there wasn't much people, he decided to talk to Youngmi for a bit.
"Hey Eun, can you take it from here?" He asked his coworker. Once she nodded her head, his lips tugged upwards, he thanked her and walked to the door.
The bell chimed as Lucas exited the establishment. Youngmi turned her head after hearing the bell and saw her best friend who stood before her with a grin on his face.
For a moment, Lucas hesitated but it was now or never, his feelings were already eating him alive. This was it, Lucas thought, this is when I'll tell her how I feel. Youngmi smiled at him but it soon faded as Lucas hugged her.
They never noticed Ten who was watching from a distance, with a pained look. It looks like Youngmi wasn't the only one who fell, but none of them knew exactly how they felt yet. The two were in denial.
"I really like you Youngmi, I really really really like you. I don't mean to ruin our friendship but i just can't keep it in anymore." Lucas confessed. Youngmi kept silent, she was at a loss for words.
Ten turned around. With an aching heart, he took slow steps away from Lucas and Youngmi. All of this at six in the morning.
