GOODBYE
"Youngmi, I have a surprise for you." Lucas spoke from the other line as Youngmi had her phone pressed up against her left ear. She was enjoying the view from her room's balcony when Lucas called her.
"Turn around," Lucas told her softly and slowly, she averted her gaze from the view infront of her and turn around.
There stood Lucas, in a black hoodie and a grin on his face. Youngmi looked at him then her shoes and Lucas' smile dropped. He knew what was about to happen, and that's what he came here for.
He stepped closer to Youngmi, engulfing her into a hug, feeling her tears soak his hoodie. "Go, run to him. May told me everything, I just came here because i didn't want to get dumped over a text. I'll support you no matter what," he smiled sadly.
"But Lucas," Lucas hugged her tighter.
"No Youngmi." Lucas said what he's been meaning to say. "You don't love me, you love him. This isn't a goodbye, I promise you I'll always be here."
"We'll still be best friends, right?" Youngmi asked before Lucas could leave
"Of course, I think that's how it should've been from the very start." He answered, and with a smile, Lucas left. All at nine in the evening.
