Author's note:

I think from now on I'll put some music on each chapter, of course, you don't have to play it, you could play your own. But, I personally don't like reading without having music playing in the background. idk, if you don't like it, I'll stop, if you do, I'll keep it on. But, besides that, please enjoy chapter 4: Giving up.                                                                                            Jesus these chapters are just pouring on yah, lol.

Boing!

Another tennis ball bounces off the tennis racket. Yes, I came to tennis practice, and not because the principle is breathing down my neck about going.

"Come on boys!! Faster faster faster!" Coach yelled. I was on thin ice when it comes to me being able to breathe- just being able to function, actually. With me dying inside, this crazy woman demands us to speed up?!
My arm started cramping, badly! I held it groaning as I leaned against the gated fence. Lying my head against the cold bars while enduring the discomfort. I slowly closed my eyes, noticing that the guys slowly stopped playing, noticing coach hanji walking over to me.

I started dozing off, maybe I was tired too? I opened them again but I wasn't on the tennis court... I was back at the ocean, again?

I was in Levi's arms, he was shaking me, calling my name.
" Eren!!" he sobbed, as I gripped his arms. I didn't understand, why am I back here?

The water swayed back and forth over our bodies with gentle touches.
"Levi..." I spoke, air bubbles twirling around us.
Levi looked upset, but why?

"Why weren't you there when I needed you eren? you left me, and I can't forgive you for that..." he let me go, I fell to the sand as dust danced in the water, dissolving slowly.

I clicked my tongue, not believing Levi said that...to me. I gripped the sand as I sat up, "Levi! levi no I didn't leave you!"I wheeled, but he didn't hear me. He focused on me with dissatisfaction. I saw him come close to me, narrowing his eyes with dolor though, everything else showed conniption. He yanked me, closing the gap we once had. Feeling each other's breathes, looking at each other in the eyes.

"Why, eren?"

I gasped reaching out, panting as I woke up in coach hanji's arms. She smiled while looking at me gain conscience, " Eren I think its safe to say, tennis just isn't for you. you've been a wonderful team player but I can't risk getting you hurt..it could damage my coaching and I'd have to explain to your parents and that's a lot of paperwork on my hands...anyways... I think you should take a break, hm?"

I shook my head sitting back up, like hell I'll just stop tennis! It's my 4th day [ The other 2 were just techniques, aka boring] doing tennis and I don't wanna give it up. I like it here, and I'm not giving up.

I looked at hanji with anger. I was angry because she doesn't believe in me, like a few scars damage me. Angry because I didn't want to be underestimated. " No!" I barked, jerking from her grip and stood up, " I'm not leaving okay? I can take a few scratches i-i-i can take...a few downfalls but just because I get hurt does not mean I should stop! I've made it this far and I'm not stopping now! I get it, you don't want me hurt, but why not?! Just give me a chance coach, please..."

I looked away and kicked the ground, feeling frustrated. By coach giving up on me, and why I keep seeing Levi. I didn't know what was going on, and I couldn't take this much confusion.

I felt coach touch my shoulder, I didn't bother looking at her though. I kept looking away, tightening my fist.

"Eren...you can stay. But be careful...please." she let go and went back to the other side of the court, clapping for us to continue. I grabbed my tennis racket and stood in position as the tall guy, oruo, started the match. He spanked the ball against the racket, forcing it to my side, I gripped my racket and ran to the left of my side of the court and whipped the ball to the other side. I smile planting my feet to get ready to move again.
