Synopsis: Amber is scared.

A/N: This is short. 

2:06 am

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!'

Krystal jolts awake because of the loud shriek of her girlfriend (who is, by the way, now standing on top of their desk drawer, far away from the bed they've just been sleeping in a few hours ago).

Clock time: 2:06 am.

"Yah, Amber, what's the problem?" She asks, concerned with how the other girl looks scared. Krystal stands and goes to her girlfriend. "Babe, come down from there." She extends her hand but the other girl looks apprehensive and still won't budge.

"No. It's still in there...under the bed." Amber murmurs quietly, like she's scared that if it hears her, it would hurt her.

Understanding dawns on Krystal's mind: Aish, there's a cockroach under the bed.

Amber, who is considered very "masculine" or "boyish" by many people, has a fear that only Krystal knows. And that is that she's terrified (more like scared to death) of cockroaches.

"Aiii, okay, okay. Wait for me. I'll kill it." She opens the door, gets her flip-flop and kills the insect. After disposing of it, she goes back to her girlfriend who still looks doubtful about the cockroach's death.

"Is it really gone?"Amber whispers.

"Yes, babe." Krystal smiles at her girlfriend and helps her go down from the desk drawer. Amber returns the smile (yet it looks bit of a grimace probably because she's still scared). But still, for Krystal, her llama looks perfect.

When they reach the bed, Krystal spoons the other girl and holds her close. A few minutes later, when she could tell that Amber's totally asleep, Krystal kisses her on the cheek and whispers:

"I love you, Am."

Most people may be annoyed that someone wakes them up at unusual hours of the night just because of a tiny cockroach. But not for Krystal. To be honest, this is one of her favorite moments- when Amber is, in a way, vulnerable. And that Amber allows only Krystal see this vulnerability. That a simple fear of an insect makes Krystal fall in love with her more.

And not only that, but, scared Amber is the cutest, ever.
