Niall parked his black Range Rover Sport behind Sabella’s mother’s crisp, white BMW five series. He looked at the time before he turned the SUV off to see it was just after six in the morning. Reaching for his phone the blonde felt eyes on him which caused him to stiffen before his blue eyes snapped up to see Sabella. She was standing on the steps, barefoot, and clad in just a sports bra and yoga shorts with her wavy hair pulled up into a high ponytail but she still could make him ache.

“Hi,” Sabella said, voice soft.

“Hi,” Niall responded as he reached the brunette.

Sabella placed her palms onto Niall’s chest, curled her fingers to fist in his shirt, and pulled him towards her. Niall allowed himself to be hauled up against her warm body, bracing his hands onto the door, effectively caging her between him and the oak door.

“Kiss me,” Sabella demanded, head tilted back to ensure her eyes hazel eyes met his blue ones.

“I don’t need to be told twice,” Niall hummed before swooping down to capture her lips with his own.

A delicious heat swirled inside of Sabella as Niall dominated her mouth. She writhed against him as his hips began to slowly, almost lazily, grind against her. Her body was alive and humming at the feel of him, she was home.

“I want to be buried deep inside of you where I belong,” he said into her mouth.

“Take me home, Ni,” Sabella whimpered back, eyes closed and head leaned back to rest against the door.

“Home?” Niall questioned softly.

“Yes, home, with you. Take me home,” Sabella whispered, eyes opening to stare into his clear ones.

“Fuck, I didn’t think you’d ever consider it home after what I’ve done to you, my sweet love,” Niall hissed, the ache in his heart threatening to cause his throat to close.

Harry rolled over to feel the bed empty and cold. He opened eyes to confirm he was indeed alone in the bed and forced himself to get out of it. Something inside of the half asleep man told him to go to the window so he drifted towards it. The sight that greeted his eyes ripped him apart, Sabella following Niall into his Range Rover to leave. She was leaving him for Niall. It didn’t matter that he found her, that he never left her, or that he loved her unconditionally because it was Niall who she chose in the end.

“Why?” Harry’s broken whisper left his lips as he let his legs give way.

Harry was alone, he wasn’t enough. Would he ever be enough to completely own her love? Was he destined to forever pine for someone who wasn’t completely his, no matter how much she loved him? Did she just love in instead of being in love with him? Was he forever destined to ache and be incomplete? How twisted and cruel fate could be when concerning matters of the heart.

Niall maneuvered the SUV through the light traffic while his left hand held Sabella’s as she slept. He snuck a glance over at her to see how peaceful she looked and a feeling of tenderness washed over him knowing he was the one giving her peace. Refocusing on the road, the blonde sighed as he continued to think of ways to handle Harry. He didn’t want to fight with his best friend over Sabella. He didn’t want him to hurt or for Sabella to continue to be torn. He wanted Sabella as he always had dreamed a future with her, and for Harry to be able to move on. Niall wasn’t fool enough to think that it was possible for Harry to do that in a day or even a few months but time could wash away the pain and allow for a fresh start.

“We’re home, aren’t we?” Sabella’s groggy voice pulled Niall from his thoughts.

“Yes, we are, sweets. I was lost in thought,” Niall responded, turning off the SUV and looking over at his entire world.

Sabella smiled adoringly at him and squeezed his hand. In that moment, Niall knew he would face heaven or hell for her. He didn’t care what he had to do because she was his and he was never letting her go. He squeezed her hand back before slipping it out of hers in order to exit the vehicle.

The house was quiet as Niall curled around Sabella’s sleeping body in the center of his bed. A small smile tugged at his lips while he allowed himself to fall into a peaceful slumber. For now, the demons would be kept at bay due to their little bubble.

Harry exited his Range Rover with a focused mind. He knew that it was to be him and Sabella, not Sabella and Niall. He knew her better than she knew herself, whereas Niall floundered around like a fish out of water. He so desperately wanted her to choose him so he made his decision, force her to miss him. His biggest issue was that he allowed himself to always be available and at her beck and call. No more, he was going to make her realize who she should actually be with.

The sun was shining bright into Zayn’s sunglass shielded eyes as he and Liam made their way to the warehouse. Even with the issues of missing Sabella, Harry, and now Niall, they needed to keep the ‘business’ running smoothly. Zayn had left Arabella to continue to work on whatever Sabella had requested of her while he and Liam were to handle the shipments and report to Sabella’s father for accounting purposes.

“Nothing seems to be fixed from where I’m standing,” Liam sighed while flicking up turn signal on.

“I agree, but this is something we are to stay out of. This is a matter of the heart, no one but the person in question can make the decision,” Zayn replied, looking at his phone to see a message from Harry.

Once you finish with the warehouse, tell Liam that you both and myself are going to Knight Falls. See you in two hours.

“Zayn?” Liam asked for the fourth time to pull Zayn back to focus.

“Sorry, mate, was reading Harry’s text. We need to meet him in two hours at our newest club, Knight Falls. It would appear that Harry is back to London and focused on the business.” Zayn answered, eyes focusing on Liam.

“Well, fuck us.” Liam hissed.

Nothing good can come from Harry having his mind focused on business. It always meant that there was underlying anger that would appear at any moment for the green eyed one had one of the foulest tempers when he let it show. It would seem that Sabella had flipped her choice, yet again. Life is never certain, never set in stone.
