Chapter 18

The next morning, my feet were aching. After the formal after party, we had a normal party with the alcohol and all those bad music. When the formal party was over, all the adults left and all the female teenagers practically ripped their dresses off and had another thin revealing dress underneath. I scoffed when they started grinding on the boys to the inappropriate music.

I quickly take a shower and went down to have breakfast, only to be greeted by the gang of witches that I fought at the bank in the human dimension. I gave a confused look at Xavier and Chase and they both shrugged at me. “You guys want to get your asses kicked again?” I say coolly as they approach me while I was drinking milk.

“No!” One of them says, “We want to worship you.” I almost choked on my drink. I got creeped out. “I know, it’s creepy but we saw how strong you were and we haven’t seen a witch-wolf as strong as you before. We want to join your gang.”

“I don’t have a gang.” I say. I walked over to the couch, which was preoccupied by Xavier and Chase, and rested my head on Xavier’s lap while I put my legs on Chase’s. They both tensed up but I ignored it.

“Then be the leader of ours.” Another one suggested.

“Why?”

“Because our ex-leader was not good and we decided to make you the next one. You seem really suited for it. Please, we look up to you and would do all you command. You will be our queen.” As much as how creepy all of that sounded, I thought for a while. There were no negative cons and I can think of a bunch of good stuff of having my own group. I didn’t feel like using them though.

“Okay.” I finally agree. “But be warned that I really don’t need that much stuff.”

They all cheered while I felt something hard poke the back of my head. I should’ve known to never lie down on one of my mate’s lap. I sit up abruptly and stare at Xavier in disbelief. “How the hell do you get a boner when I didn’t even do anything?!” I whispered-yelled.

He smiled cheekily at me like he was proud of it. “I know you liked it.” He used his catchphrase. I shook my head and noticed Chase also had a boner.

“You too Chase?!” I exclaimed in disbelief. They probably got it from a thought. I was lying down on two perverted players, what else could I expect?

He smirked at me. “Only because I kept thinking about that foot doing naughty, naughty stuff to me.”

I blushed and quickly get off the couch and tried to go to another chair but I was stopped when both of them took either of my arms and pulled me back down so I was sitting in between them. They came closer and I was squished. Both of them grinned slyly and they kissed my cheek. Great, instead of being enemies, they decided to team up on me. Was that even possible to share a mate?

I had to get my mind off of their warm breaths on my cheeks as they stare adoringly at me. So, I called out to the gang and told them a plan I thought of last night. They all said “Yes, madam!” I needed to get used to that because it felt awkward.

“I need all of you to fly all around the universe and drop bits of scents on me from object to object. That way, The Darkness can look everywhere since the universe continues on.” Actually, the human dimension is biggest of all dimensions. “Just warp from an area really far away from Earth.”

They all nod and I hand them a bunch of my items that I don’t need anymore. I need to stall a lot of time. They take it all and leave through a portal. “So,” Chase says, “What’s the plan?”

“I’m going to wait until the Darkness is searching far away and then head to Earth and get rid of this stupid curse.”

“Sounds like a good plan.” Xavier says while nodding.

When the darkness leaves, I go and save lives. I come back to the witch’s dimension late at night and was tired as hell. I managed to get rid of 17 marks which means that I have 81 more marks to go. I groaned lazily as I made my way to a random room. I lay down on a comfortable bed. It was nearly 3 A.M. and Xavier told me to come back here in the human dimension when I’m tired. I slowly closed my eyes when I heard a chuckle and remembered that I didn’t know whose room this was. I sharply sit up and stared at the guy who chuckled. I immediately sighed when I saw that it was Chase and lay back down. He comes closer to the bed.

“Mind moving over for me?” He says.

“I’m too lazy to.” I groaned. He smiled and moved a strand of hair away from my face. I felt the sparks and I knew that the bond was getting stronger. He then rubbed my cheek with his thumb and sit down on the bed.

It felt like those movies when the characters were about to kiss. He leans down and his face inches closer and closer to my face. God, I wanted to kiss him. He was definitely keeping me awake. I closed my eyes when his lips graze softly over mine. “Then I’ll do it for you.” He whispers huskily and pushes me roughly so that I flip over and slightly move to the other side. I shrieked when he does it. I was lying down in the middle of the bed. Now, I’m on the edge. I felt him lie down on the bed on the other side and take my pillow away from me to put under him. He grins lazily.

“Asshole.” I muttered under my breath while I flip myself back over. I try to pull the pillow back on my side but he was too heavy. There was only one pillow. I gave up when I knew I couldn’t get it out of that heavy head of his. He placed both of his arms behind his head and laughs at my lame attempt. “Meanie.” I pout.

 Chase stops laughing and wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him. He then places my head on his shoulder to use as a pillow and I blush. He kisses my forehead and lifts me up so that I could have half of the pillow. “Good night, Rose.”

 “Good night, Chase.” I say quietly and hugged him while putting one of my legs on his whole body. He smiled at my still-red face and closed his eyes. I watched him fall asleep. I couldn’t sleep anymore now that he’s got my attention. The warmth of his hand is lingering on my waist where his hand used to be. Since he fell asleep, his arm dropped onto the bed. I found it hard to concentrate on sleeping with his arm underneath me.

Argh! What this boy does to me!

After thinking forever, I found out what I was going to do for this chapter. Lol, I've been so caught up with my other stories that I forgot about this one. It's kind of like I have Writer's Block for it.

I thought I would put in a cute moment with Chase and Rose. It kind of sucks lol. I sorry.
