There was sorta a big time skip here, so I'll fill the gaps in from chapter to chapter.

--------------------------   Chapter 6

I packed up all my belongings. At least I could start over now. Why would step-dad want me to go to the human dimension, though? So I can find my mate? In any case, Jessica is able to live with me. I bit my lip as I thought. What about Xavier? Would he miss me? I already know the answer to that; no. I can’t help but feel a sting in my heart.

I went to the gate and hugged my brother, sister, and even Chloe goodbye. Jessica and I went to the headquarters. To remain as a secret for some reason, we had to change our names. I was supposed to be Jessica’s sister, but we looked nothing alike, so we’re step-sisters.

I was no longer Rose Blackwood and Jessica was no longer Jessica Monroe. I was now Corona and Jessica was Destiny. We were the Angels. People decided not to make “Destiny” and I related to Aiden’s family. I don’t know why, though. But at least we were considered in the pack. We figured out Destiny is 1/3 wolf. That meant she was more fated to her witch mate than to her wolf mate.

When Jake and Layla told me I was going to the human dimension just to find my mate, I had a feeling that it was for something else. I didn’t feel safe around here, nor in the human dimension. It’s the dimension my mom died in; of course I was going to feel paranoid. I sighed to myself. I guess this is my new life.

--------------- One and a Half Years Later -------------------------

We watched the ball get passed around. ‘Turn now, the other player will tackle you if you don’t’ I say through telekinesis to Aiden. Next thing you know, he has dodged player after player and the clock has 5 more seconds left. ‘You’re going to make it.’ I encouraged him. Before the timer could get to 2 seconds, Aiden scored a touchdown. We all cheered for him. I run down the stadium and Destiny followed. We congratulated him and hugged him. The last football game left was the championship and if we win, we’ll make high school history for the first time.

“We made it to the championship!” Aiden yelled in his mighty Alpha voice. The crowd cheers louder and we heard the boo’s get drowned out.

This was my new life. I was 17 and Destiny was 18. I was going to be 18 in three more weeks and I’m pumped for it. I’ve gotten pretty use to the human dimension and a lot of people liked Destiny and I since we’ve changed a lot. Destiny was happier now and has shown her friendly side to me. Never once, have I thought about Xavier even though my witch longed for him. My real dad and I have been getting along as well and my step-mom, Isabel, too. I’ve grown really attached to her. She was so much like my real mom. Isabel always treated Destiny and I with kindness. Guess that’s why she’s the Luna (the Alpha’s mate/ second leader of the pack).

Speaking of pack labels, Destiny and I were the new part of the pack, so we were treated like omegas (the lowest rank). Knowing Destiny, she doesn’t like being ranked as low. So we got our titles as the peacemakers. We hated fighting so we try to break up fights between the wolves of the pack. There were almost 500 wolves in the pack because of immortality and we have to be squished together in a giant pack house. Wolves couldn’t live alone, except for Destiny and I, but we mostly bunk at the pack house sometimes.

I send letters to Jake, Layla, and sometimes Chloe because she’s changed a lot. There was this one letter, though, I’ve been holding on to for a year but never got the courage to send it. It was to Xavier and I exploded my feelings out on to the piece of paper. It was like, 6 pages long and I write pretty small. I still haven’t found my wolf mate yet but I will when I turn 18. Witches are different from wolves. They find their true love when their 16 and as for wolves, they find their mate when they’re 18. Destiny already found her wolf mate when she turned 18 in the club I took her to. I didn’t mention it, but, I had a black cat named “Lucy” that I brought along with me to the human dimension. I exit out of the pack house and into the huge yard.
