                “You’re not serious are you?” I say. “Why would the sweetest women on Earth kill my parents?!”

                Mathilda looks at me. “She used to be sweet and nice like that before she found her mate but he rejected her and fell in love with a witch instead. It’s a rare condition to fall in love with someone other than your mate but it is possible. Isabel hated your mother when she did this and threatened to kill her and her family one day. Isabel was hurt and betrayed and won back your real father’s love. Then, your mother came to visit and she killed her. Isabel wanted to make it look like a car accident and she killed your mother in the car and crashed it. But, your father still loves your mother. After a few years, she made ‘friends’ with Chloe and your step-dad knew that Isabel was no good so he followed her when she led Chloe somewhere. They got killed there since they were witches and because Isabel paid the wolves herself.” She explained.

                I nodded. “So, who will she kill next?”

                “Whoever trusts her the most. Layla and Jake are cautioned of her and do not trust her yet, but you, she thinks you trust her the most so she’ll probably poison your food or something.”

                I scoffed, seeming to have a sense of anger burgling up my throat. “Either way, she can’t kill me.”

                She smiled at me. “I’m glad you’re taking this so well.”

                Yea, I’m actually not. I had come to think a few weeks ago before my birthday that I admitted I loved her and I felt and odd sense of betrayal. I can understand what it would feel like to have your mate taken away from you, but murdering my family? This ‘love’ is not gonna happen. Before she even dares to lay a finger on any of my blood relatives, I will rip her throat out whether or not I get locked up forever in jail or get a trial to get my head cut off for killing a higher authority. So, another brilliant plan pops up in my mind. It’s revenge.

                A few days later, I practically turned into a whore. I pissed everybody off, had s*x with a lot of taken guys, and broke all the rules. I never went near Xavier and Chase though. Every day, I would make out with some boy and see them looking at me with betrayal and pain in their eyes. I felt horrible about it and I keep telling myself that it’s the best way to keep them alive, but sometimes I wish I would just die so they would stop getting hurt by me.

                The whole pack hates me and I accidently sent a girl to the E.R. Well, it’s not my fault she slapped me when I was doing ‘it’ with her boyfriend. I chuckled at the thought. It actually was. I’ve been in dozens of fights with the pack members. That’s not what peacekeepers are supposed to do. I’ve also been avoiding Destiny. From the looks of it, she knows something bad has happened to me and is keeping her distance. Was I really that easy to see through?

                “You actually kind of are.” Mathilda says. I looked at her and leaned against the locker. I guess I’m going to have to change that. I glared at girls as they walked by and scurried away when they met my eyes. I then look for bait tonight. I suppose that everybody hates me now so should I stop and find out how to get rid of this damn birthmark?

                And, Mathilda says that my ancestors who had this curse would visit me in my dreams, but it’s been more than 2 weeks and I have had no visitors. I told her this and she said that they could be watching you from a far distance. She also said that usually the ancestors watch what you do and look at your skills. If they don’t interrupt you, then you are interesting enough and doing the right stuff. OR they’re just scared of you. Pssht scared my ass. I’m not interesting either so what’s the point? I don’t really need anything from them and I learned quite enough. I have had everything planned out except for the birthmark. That’s what I had told her a few days ago and she said that that’s the point.
