Chapter 2; The Six

Sat within a lab, which was securely bunked beneath Kempton House, Drake was delicately retesting and separating each of his own bloods chromosomes.

Kempton House was a large renovated old Victorian mansion in which belonged to Ariel, and had been within her family since the birth of the building. Drake had been the first category one supernatural in which Ariel had taken in, within her own home. Yet, he hadn't been originally born a supernatural.

Drake had a complicated life, something in which he had only shared with Ariel and recently with the rest of their team. He didn't have many memories of his past; yet, as a teen, Drake had been abducted by none other than his own kind, - the humans and inhumanly tested upon.

Since his escape and with Ariel's help, Drake had never been the same after whatever the humans had done to him. Upon the surface he looked human enough; he was also smart and extremely strong. Yet, beneath the surface, Drake was hiding his new identity, he was controlling the monster in which wanted out.

With Ariel's help, Drake had learned to control his anger issues, suppressing the giant reptile within him, as he continuously searched for a cure. Smashing the millionth test-tube, out of his own anger and frustration, Drake's communicator started to beep.

Each of the Supernatural-X team wore a communicator, which was directly linked to the humans command centre. Shutting the beeping off upon his own communicator, which looked extremely similar to a high-tech watch, Drake took off his lab coat and left the laboratory beneath Kempton House.

Out within the light of the London's sun, Loka was trailing a certain somebody. For most of her life she had held a special place within her heart, for a human who had once helped her.

Loka was a category two shape-shifter; yet, without any disguise her skin was originally blue, her eyes were as orange as flames and her hair was also short, raven black. But Loka preferred to keep that identity hidden whenever and wherever possible.

As a child, Loka had been shunned from society, - as you already know, shape-shifters weren't trusted by the humans or by their government. Yet, there still had been one human who had reached out, and had given Loka food at her lowest moment within life. From that day forth Loka had always kept her distance, though she did know that the human knew she was watching him from afar.

The communicator upon her wrist started to beep repeatedly. Cursing the humans timing, Loka shifted from her human disguise, back to her natural form. Passer-by's screamed and moved out of her way, as Loka turned the communicator off and set off in the direction of the humans' communications command centre.

Back within Kempton House, Nikita was within the Armoury improving the teams' suits, weapons and their aircrafts technology. Nikita was a category three and extremely intelligent. The teams' all in one combat suits were created from a basic black leather, whereas Ariel's seemed to cover a lot less skin and was created from a bright red leather.

Only two members of the team also used weapons, as the others had powers in which could protect them. Loka, though she could fight, didn't go anywhere without a pair of sai at hand. And though Nikita had her intelligence and the ability to disappear at will, she too preferred to fight with a weapon, a bow being her weapon of choice.

Already suited and booted, Nikita dropped everything in which she was doing and climbed aboard the streamlined aircraft, powering it up. Just as she strapped herself into the pilots' seat, her own communicator started to beep, just as she had sensed and had expected that it would.
