Alice's POV
I followed Luca out the door. Luca, please don't hate me... Please... I thought as I chased after him, tears streaming down my face.
I wiped them to clear my vision and ran faster to Luca, not caring that the bell rang or that I was going to get a tardy. Luca, Luca. I thought as I ran towards where he was.. Luca, I.. I..
I found Luca sitting down on the staircase, his black eyes were red and he was sobbing. I felt my breath taken away as I took steps towards him and sat down next to him. I quickly wiped away all of the remainder of my tears and looked at Luca.
He looked so fragile, so easy to break. I patted his black hair, awkwardly. I could feel myself heat up. Right now's not the time to blush, Alice! I mentally scolded myself. I cleared my throat. "A-are y-you o-ok, Luca?" I said, looking away from him so that he couldn't see my face.
He sat straighter, no longer crouched over. "No.." He mumbled, wiping his tears. "Why not?" I questioned him, looking him straight in the face now.
Luca's face flushed and I felt mine heat up as well. He quickly looked away. "I felt like I was going to die when I saw you with Kayle.." Luca mumbled, looking at the ground. My eyes widened.. Did this mean that Luca was... Jealous?
I tried to stifle my laugh, but I couldn't. Luca looked at me, in a questioning way. I just laughed until I couldn't anymore. "Why were you laughing?" Luca asked me, his eyes lit up with curiosity. That was the Luca I know.
I smiled and replied, "Because I think that you're jealous." "Of who?" Luca inquired, tilting his head like a child. "Of me and Kayle.." I mumbled. "You and Kayle... I guess so.. Maybe that was why I felt like I couldn't breath.." Luca mumbled, his black hair in his eyes.
I looked away from his gaze, blushing so much that I felt a little feverish as well. I waved my hand over my head, creating a fan for myself. Is it just me or is it hot in here? I thought, avoiding Luca's gaze. He seemed not to pay attention to me and cleared his voice.
"Does this mean that I love you?" Luca asked me, his eyes wide. I replied, "I really, really, absolutely have no experience in love at all, like video games. But I really, truly think that I'm in love with you."
Luca grinned and said, "And I love you." He leaned over towards me, my entire body temporally paralyzed, and planted a kiss on my forehead. I felt like electricity went all over throughout my body.
I felt my cheeks heat up. Luca laughed.
Luca's POV
I laughed. "Look at your cheeks!" I exclaimed, laughing. Alice replied, "Look at yours!" She smiled and leaned towards me, kissing my cheek. I felt a spark in that kiss, and blushed. The bell rang. Alice frowned and grabbed my right hand. She sighed and looked at me longingly. "Shall we go?" I said, smiling at her. She blushed. "We shall.." She mumbled, blushing. She looked cute! So cute that I really wanted to cuddle her and pinched her cheeks! I really, love, love her.
