Blair's POV

I couldn't find him anywhere at lunch.... Or in the hallways... I sighed, shaking my head as I leaned against the wall. "Where could he be..." I mumbled, feeling distraught.

I sighed, sliding down the wall, despite the empty hallway that I was in. There was bound to be a school administrator lurking around somewhere, barking for me to get up. But I really couldn't care less. Not after what I'm worrying about right now....

I closed my eyes. 'Where is he? I though that things were finally getting better between us,' I thought, feeling my eyes slightly water up. I quickly rubbed them, not willing myself to cry. "No, Blair. Don't you dare cry over this.... This is just something that he might have forgotten.... It's no big deal," I said to myself, silently laughing to myself.

'No big deal....' I shook my head, patting my cheeks as I huffed. "He's going to get hell for making me feel this way," I murmured to myself, jumping up. I quickly glanced at the empty hallway, hearing footsteps that weren't mine's. 'Was it an administer? Or..... Kayle?' My eyes brightened at the thought, but I was forced to consider the possibility that it might not have been him.

I stayed there, feeling my heart race when I heard the footsteps coming closer and closer until finally they stopped, making me look at a familiar brunette. I blinked. 'Who was she? But I think I've seen here somewhere before.....' I put my hand to my chin, observing the girl with an intense gaze in my eyes.

She smirked at me, making my eyes widen slightly in surprise. 'Why was she smirking...'

She made me snap out of my thoughts by speaking, "I have your man...... Layle, was it?" She said, leaning against the wall casually, as if this were her house.

I scoffed, crossing my arms. "Who are you?" I glared at the girl, standing across from her. She was unsettling to look at. That smirk on her face....

The girl just continued smirking. "My name doesn't matter anymore. All that matters right now is that I have your man, alright?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Your name doesn't matter anymore.... But I thought you were the most beautiful girl in the school... If your name doesn't matter anymore, doesn't that mean that you don't matter anymore?" I asked, with an innocent expression on my face. I mentally gave myself a high five, knowing that this would definitely tick her off. I had already recognized her by her familiar brown hair, doe like eyes and small face. Sasha, the so called Queen Bee of the school.

The girl just huffed. "At least I matter much more than you! Y-you're nothing!" She shrieked, clutching my shirt. "What he sees in you, I don't even know. But I will never give out his location. I will never let you get to him, I swear upon it on my grave."

I let a bitter laugh escape my lips. "Bitch, please. Who the hell do you think you're talking to, here?" I cocked my head to the side. "A street rat, I think not. I'll find him, not matter where he's at. I swear on our love." I smiled sickly. "And on your little brown head of hair that I will find him. You wouldn't have anything to do once I do."

Her eyes widen in surprise as she was stuck speechless. "I-I'll get you for this!" She declared, her face redden as she stomped away. "I promise you that I will!"

I shook my head, laughing to myself. "Whew, that was fun." I said, feeling better now that I had released most of my sadness and stress about Kayle. I sighed softly. "Now how will I find him?" I murmured to myself as I walked to the cafeteria, smelling the rich scent of pizza and fries.

I felt myself drooling at the smell. "Food first, rescue plan later," I decided as I made my way inside the cafeteria, grabbing 2 slices of pizza and some fries. I also got some chocolate milk as my drink, walking over to an empty table when I came across Luca("the interesting guy") and Alice("the smart one"). I immediately sat down at the table, casually eating my pizza while they both stared at me.

"Blair?" I heard Alice say. I didn't make eye contact with them, still eating my pizza. I slowly nodded, taking a huge bite out of the pizza. 'Man, this is so good.' I continued eating my pizza, unaware of my messy mouth which made Alice giggle slightly.

"Your mouth, Blair," she said, in between giggles, "is messy." I looked up, meeting her mismatched eyes.

I blinked. "Really?" I mumbled as I wiped my mouth, seeing the red marinara sauce on the napkin. "Oh...."

Alice smiled. "Let me help you with that... There's a little bit more on the side of your cheek," she said, taking the napkin from my hand. I let her rub the napkin against my cheek, getting the sauce off as I watched her with great curiosity in my eyes. 'What was she doing this for? Just to be kind?'

I continued observing her, not noticing Luca watch me with eagle eyes. He just kept on staring at me until Alice nudged him with her elbow, tsking at him as she shook her head. "Staring's rude, Luca," she said, chuckling softly.

Luca pouted slightly. "But she was doing it to you," he pointed out. Alice just rolled her eyes.

"Just because someone does something doesn't mean that you have to follow that person's action," she stated, crossing her arms.

Luca just sighed, laying his head on her shoulder. "Fine, fine. You win," he mumbled in her shoulder. Alice grinned triumphantly.

"I always do," she whispered to me which made me giggle at the sound of that. I didn't know why I felt so comfortable around these two.... Maybe it was the way how they were so similar to Kayle and I. Their relationship.... As lovers.....

I blushed. 'L-lovers?! I have to stop thinking about that nonsense and hurry up and rescue Kayle..... But I need help first. But who would help me?' I looked around before my eyes settled on the two, who were smiling so happily. Who were so in love......

I snapped out of my daze, blinking. "Hey, can you guys do me a favor?" I asked as politely as I could, looking between the two of them. I think that I looked pitiful then, because they both looked at each other before looking back at me.

Alice smiled, nodding while Luca grinned. "Of course!" He said.

I took a deep breath before explaining what had happened with Sasha, leading up to the present, also known as 'The Now'.

Alice didn't say anything and just listened while Luca said a few comments here and there, but I just let them go.

I looked at the two of them. "So? What should I do now?" I asked, twiddling my thumbs in fear that they might not have any advice that could really help me.

Alice smiled while Luca grinned. "We'll help you," she said, her eyes bright with anticipation. "We'll do it."

My eyes widen in surprise. I would have never thought that they would give me advice, much less help me. "Really?" I asked, incredulous.

Luca nodded, his shaggy black hair moving with the motion. "Yeah, really," he replied back with the same trademark childish grin of his.

I smiled widely. "Thank you," I said with awe in my voice, "I really appreciate it." I felt tears in my eyes, but I quickly blinked them away because I didn't want them to see that I was crying. Not for Kayle..... But for them. My pride just couldn't take it.

Alice grinned. "So what shall we do now, Blair?" She inquired, excitement in her eyes. "Should we devise a plan?"

I turned to face her and nodded. "Mhmm..... A plan." And that was all that it took for me to get reinforcements for Operation Kayle.

*****

The rest of lunch went by fast, with the glimpse of us not noticing the fact that the bell had already rung had been quite humiliating. I mean, a trio of teenagers sitting down at a table with empty tables surrounding them? That had to have been the most embarrassing moment of my life, unless you have to count the numerous times when I had to go on my tippy toes on assemblies in order to see what they were doing......

Anyways, our plan was to retrieve Kayle and first found out where his location is. Which... We have no idea where he is at right now...

This is possibly the worst plan ever, but somehow.... I think we'll make it work.... Maybe.
