Wild Love

Chapter 3.

Saturday 30th June 2018

9:45am

I awoke with a smile. My alarm was "I Found You" by James Bay. The lyrics seemed to mean something to me, I just don't know what. This reminded me, I forgot to post the picture of James and I. I thought i'd post it on twitter, so I opened up the little blue bird app and pressed the "New Tweet" button. I found the photo of James, Maddie and I and then the photo with just me and James. I wrote...

"One of the best nights of my life. Thank you to @JamesBayMusic and his band for such an amazing gig."

I then tweeted it.

I started to watch some of the videos I took of the concert last night. I closed my eyes, pretending I was back in the hall. I mouthed the words as I got out of bed and jumped into the shower.

12:00pm

Over the next couple of hours I checked it. Only a few of my friends had liked it and one of the girls from college had commented...

"OMG well jealous! Hope you had a good night hun, you deserve it xx"

This made me smile, I had had an amazing night. I couldn't stop thinking about James. This was obviously stupid as i was never going to see or hear from him again.

14:17pm

Beep Beep

My phone buzzed and the screen lit up. I raced towards my phone, I don't really know what I was expecting to see.

OMG

He'd liked my tweet, that was nice of him. That's all i was really expecting. Some of the girls then started freaking out that he'd liked my tweet. It was pretty funny actually, one of them started planning our future out...I'd only met him once and he was a celebrity. Yeah I'd thought about it myself but i was aloud to, wasn't I ? (LoL)

I replied to the tweets from my friends with the laughing face emoji, just to 'play it cool'. I didn't want James to come back onto the picture and see me freaking out, that would make me look like a weirdo. I put my phone down in my room and walked through to the study, I needed to catch up on some college work I missed yesterday. Good old 'Anatomy of the horse'. This was such a hard subject. This is what i study in college, Equine management and studies. For everyone that doesn't know what equine means, HORSE.

17:00pm

Five o'clock came. I had finished my essay. Now it was time for a brew, for everyone who doesn't know what a 'brew' is; it's an english term for a cup of tea. I went down stairs to find Maddie and my dad in the kitchen chatting over the kitchens island.

"Hia love, you alright?" my dad said with a smile.He was a jolly man , my dad. Always happy, I don't think I've ever seen him sad.

"Yeah i'm alright, just sick of all these essays" I explained as i rolled my eyes.

My dad gave me a supportive grin.

Maddie laughed at me. She'd been through all this, she had a job now as a barrister at Starbucks Coffee. I gave her a glare and then walked over to the kettle to make my favourite tea, 'Berry Burst fruit tea'.

"How was the gig?" he asked.

"Aw dad it was amazing. Maddie and I got right to the front." I said with a massive smile.

Maddie gave a suggestive cough that sounded very purposeful. Me and my dad turned round to her to see her making those eyes at me again. I looked at her very confused and shrugged my shoulders.

"Oh for goodness sake, we met James Bay dad!" she said very excited, then throwing a tea towel at me.

"Wow thats good ain't it, was he nice?" he asked with a grin.

Maddie stared at me, like she wanted me to answer the question.

"Yeah dad, he was lovely really polite." I said "He asked me to tag him in a photo of us and he'd try to find us later on. He liked the photo this morning."

"Ah that cool" my dad said, probably not really that bothered. He didn't know who James Bay was for a first haha.

Maddie started to make googley eyes and fake kissing noises. Dad looked up from his coffee confused. I looked over my shoulder at her and just laughed. I knew what she was suggesting, I grabbed my tea and went back upstairs. Ignoring her as I went.
