It had been nearly two weeks after I agreed to 'hang out' with James. I hadn't really done much in that time. A few theatre performances witnessed and lots of coffee drank. Yesterday he finished his Uk tour, I wonder if he remembered. I do still wonder if it was a dream, I speak to him every now and then but it all doesn't seem real. Maddie was over the moon when i agreed to hanging out or the 'date' as she calls it. I still don't think its a date, he wouldn't date a fan.
Beep Beep
There goes my phone; I should really change my text tone. Was it James? It was. I don't think I've been this happy to see someones name on my phone before.
"Hey Mol. You ok? Ive really missed talking to you whilst I've been really busy these last couple of days. What are you up to today? let me know when your free, I can't wait to hang out with you and just see you again. Love James x"
This was music to my ears; see what i did there...lol i'll stop. He called me "Mol" that sounded promising, i kinda liked it i could imagine him saying it to my face.I text back pretty much straight away with the usual... 'Yeah I'm ok. missed you too haha. I'm free tomorrow if you wanna hang then? let me know, love Mol x" I hope that sounded ok and i wasn't to pushy, i wanted to try and play it cool but it didn't really seem to be working.
16:00pm
We had now spoken for about four hours. So I decided to pucker up the courage to ask him if it was a proper date tomorrow. He replied pretty much straight away with
"Yes of course it is!, If that's ok with you ?"
OF COURSE IT WAS OK. He was bloody James Bay for God sake. I replied with a smoother comment than that haha. He asked me if I like StarBucks Coffee and if I'd like to go there tomorrow. I replied with
"Yeah I love StarBucks, do you want to pick me up?"
"Of course I will, what's our address darling?" Said James.
Ooo I'm loving these nicknames. I sent him my address and he just replied with the winking face emoji. I thought I'd leave it there for tonight and start to plan for tomorrow.
I ran through into Maddie's room and told her. She screened very loud and jumped of her bed. She ran over to me and grabbed my hands and started to pull me round the room skipping. I have a feeling she was excited.
"What do I wear for a Starbucks date?" I asked her.
"Be yourself Mol, that's what he liked at the concert so just be yourself." She exclaimed.
I walked back through to my room where I opened my wardrobe and stared in at the contents. I weaved through lots of different outfit opportunities and through them on the floor. When suddenly I came across a jump suit I hadn't worn in a long time. It was white, blue and baby pink stripped. I tried it on and went through to Maddie again.
"What do you think?" I asked her.
She just smiled and nodded in an approving way.
21:00 pm
I guess I better get a good nights sleep ready for my date tomorrow, if I could sleep that was. I was going on a date with James Bay !
