Chapter 3 - A Complete Team

(Y/N) POV

That was a rather high quality night of sleep. Best for a while actually because of how stressed I was about meeting new people and the initiation. At first I thought he was going to say for us to go home but we are now a pair. I wonder where he's going to get the other members of the team. Surely it's got to be hard considering we a re titled as Kings and Queens of Beacon. I'm just done with everything right now. I might ditch class today just so I can get more sleep.

"Alice, Want to go to Vale and ditch class?" No reply. "Alice?" Again no reply. Is she really still asleep? I thought I could sleep and not have her drag me out of bed. I decided to walk to her bed to see if she was still there and she surprisingly was. It seems that she was rather out of it as well after everything that has happened recently.

Moments passed and I heard a small groan come for her bed. "What time is it?" Alice seemed to say groggily yet with complete fluency. "Doesn't matter really I just might skip and go to Vale. You in?" She gave me a quizzical look and questioned if I was actually planning to take the day off from everything. To which I replied "Yes."

She didn't seem completely against it but of course did have her doubts. It's not like I have any idea of what we would do in Vale. Just look around, get something to eat, talk a bit and then maybe train in the arena when we get back to practice our coordination. That would be the general idea anyway.

"I just want to sleep after everything that has happened. I mean who does Ozpin think he is almost giving me a heart attack by saying we wouldn't be accepted." Unfortunately at that moment all of Alice's hopes and dreams were crushed by one sentence. "Could Alice and (Y/N) come to Professor Ozpins office immediately please." Are you serious Ozpin, classes haven't even started yet.

~Timeskip~

"Alice, (Y/N) glad you're finally here." He seems to be slightly stalling. "Get to the point wizard." "You kinda destroyed all of Alice's hopes and dreams by doing this and she isn't very happy." "I see. Well this is important because it has to do with your remaining teammates. They are extremely powerful and have the same thought process that you do. At least one of them does."

What does he mean 'At least on of them does'? Surely if they can be accepted into a team titled the Kings and Queens of Beacon they can handle themselves and help others efficiently. However I know there is going to be some sort of catch if they aren't here already. Which means that this is potentially a mission for us to get them and have them join once we get them.

"You may be wondering why they aren't here right now to join you. Well, let me put an end to your confusion and curiosity. One is a well known mercenary who will kill with no hesitation but is extremely skilled. He will join you after you've heard his conditions and they are done. The other is also extremely skilled in fighting yet has been kidnapped by the White Fang. Your mission at the moment is to go to the designated location and hear the first ones conditions."

He's clearly hiding something from us about the second one. On the other hand he was extremely open about the first one being a mercenary and will kill anyone instantly. The real question is how did he get a mercenary to consider joining Beacon. On the strongest team as well. Well, not a team yet and we can't really prove we're the strongest right now.

"You coming with us to hear him out?" "Of course I will. You will merely be acting as bodyguards and to show home that he will be joining your team." He seems to know what he's doing yet what is he planning. Surely this can't be good for Beacons reputation. Having a murderer in Beacon would scare people and form negative emotions which would only attract Grimm and make our job as Hunters and Huntress harder.
