Odd Squad 7 Minutes in Heaven

Otis and Orchid

These two were requested :)

Me: "Okay, how about Otis and Orchid!" 

Otis: "O-Orchid?" 

Orchid: -blushes slightly at the fact that they got choose but tried not to show it- "Come on Otis, it's just for 7 minutes." 

Otis: -he looks at Orchid- "She didn't call me Sherman." -he thought- "Why didn't she?"

Orchid: -she grabs his hand and runs to the closet and closes it- 

Otis: "I guess we're actually going to play this."  -looks at his hand, Orchid still hadn't let go of it-

Orchid: -smiles at her hand that's holding Otis's- 

Otis: -struggles to get his hand free- "Orchid..let go." 

Orchid: "No and nothing you say can make me." 

Otis: -he blushes slightly and kind of doesn't want her to et go but he uses their age difference as an excuse-  "Orchid, please let go." 

Orchid: -looks at Otis- "Otis I like you." 

Otis: -looks away from Orchid- "I know you do but don't you think I'm a little bit older then you." 

Orchid: -still looks at Otis- "I don't care if your older. I like you and only you. Does age really matter?" 

Otis: -nods- "Yeah. It does." 

Orchid: "I know you like me too. " 

Otis: -looks at her- "What? No I don't.  Not like that." 

Orchid: "Your lying." -she says looking into his eyes-

Otis: -Shakes his head- "No I'm not." -tries to avoid any eye contact- 

Orchid: "Then explain to me why your still holding into my hand even when I gripped onto it looser then I was before, making it easy for you to take it back."

Otis: -doesn't say anything because he knows what she's saying is true. He did like her but he knew he couldn't be with her- 

Orchid: -sighs- "Look at me, Otis. Look into my eyes and say you don't like me back. I dare you."

Otis: -knows what the consequences there are but doesn't care anymore. He meets Orchids eyes- "I do like you, Orchid and I do really want to be with you but we just can't." 

Orchid: -sighs and looks down at her feet- 

Otis: "But that doesn't mean we can't be together in the future." -he places his hand on her chin to make her look at him-

Orchid: "How am I supposed to know who that your not lying?"

Otis: -he kisses Orchids cheek- "Orchid, I really like you, I know I said I did the but I do and even if I do have to wait to be with you, I'll still like you."

Orchid: "Well if we're talking about lying the. I loved about liking you." 

Otis: -his eyes widen- "What?" 

Orchid: "I love you Otis." -smiles at him- 

Otis: -smiles back at her- "I..love you too Orchid." -they both walk out of the closet smiling- 

Me: "Well something must have happened in there if you two are both smiling at the same time." 

Otis: "We just talked and I'm really glad we did." -looks at Orchid and smiles- 

Orchid: -smiles back- "Really really glad we did."
