It had been almost three weeks since Colby and I had kissed. Sam barely talked to me. It was obvious he was pissed at me. I was in my room on my phone when Colby walked in.
"Hey Crystal, do you have plans tonight?" he asked. I thought about it for a minute.
"Nope, why Colby?" I reply.
"Do you maybe wanna go out tonight?" he asks shyly.
"Sure! I'll be ready by seven." I smile. He smiles at me before leaving. I text Kat to tell her about tonight. I ask her to cover for me. She responds with an okay. I notice it's only five so I have two hours. I quickly shower before throwing my hair up into a messy bun. I slip on a white shirt with black jeans before slipping my feet into my Nikes. I put on a black choker and a light lipgloss before going back to my phone. There's a knock on my bedroom door. I get up and open the door to find Sam standing there with bloodshot eyes.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I was trying to control you. I'm sorry." he cries. I wrap my arms around the crying boy before he kisses the side of my head.
"It's okay Sammy." I smile at him. He pulls back from the hug and I hear another knock on my door.
"You ready yet?" Colby pokes his head through the door. I nod my head before I grab my wallet and phone. I wave goodbye to Sam as Colby and I walk to his car. I notice that Colby is swinging a picnic basket back and forth in his hand. I smile at him as we get into the car.
"What's the plan?" I question.
"Well, we're going to an abandoned warehouse that Sam and I have explored before and then we're gonna have a picnic under the stars." he says as we pull out of the driveway. I nod my head before playing music. After about an hour, Colby finally pulls into an empty field. "Now, we run." he smiles at me. We run hand in hand until we come upon a building covered in graffiti.
"Wow. This is amazing." I smile up at him as I intertwine our fingers. He brings his face close to mine and I connect our lips. My boy.
