One step forward, Three steps back

After playing the new game that Damon introduced, everyone was tired. Stella had to go start her tutoring with one of her teachers so she left and Stefan also went along with her. Damon was the only one left with one Katherine Pierce meaning that she started to also seduce him.

Putting him under her spell was not a part of her plan but she knew that having another Salvatore wrapped around her finger would help her survive longer. While doing this she couldn't help but feel guilty about betraying Stella and manipulating her heart and feelings.

But this was life. Katherine had so much hurt in her lifetime that she didn't even know how to attempt to have a normal life. She was a vampire first and foremost. Her entire family was dead and she was on the run from a psychopathic hybrid that wanted to break some stupid curse. Needless to say she was having a rough time adjusting to the slow country life of Mystic Falls.

Stella had just finished her French tutoring lesson that felt like it had went on for three thousand hours. There was no reason for her to learn French. She knew that she was never going to be able to leave Mystic Falls. She would find a 'good' husband and be a good wife while having children. There was always a sense of dread in the pit of her stomach whenever she thought of having to marry a man or even courting one. It wasn't that there were no charming men in Mystic Falls it's just that Stella never had any interest in them. She was always interested in her and how soft their lips were and how good their hair smelled. She had overheard her father and Stefan talking about people with such afflictions. They were the ones who liked the same gender.

Stella didn't quite know what she was, she just knew that she definitely did not want to get married and she knew that she definitely did not want kids. That was her great dilemma along with the fact that her father held no affection or respect for her. The only reason that she had overheard her brother and father talking was because she was sent to her room during dinner.

There was an argument about her wanting to wear what she wanted when she wanted and of course her father did not like that. He had been drinking and he sent her to her room without food causing her to become hungry.

These confusing feelings were then brought to the surface even more by Katherine. Katherine was.......

Captivating, charming and apparently in love with her younger brother.

But instead of dwelling on all of these conflicting emotions Stella blocked everything out. Whenever things got to be too much she just shut her emotions off. Almost like switch, instead of blowing up out of anger she just became an indifferent mask.

All of this contemplation was done thankfully alone. Stella was sitting down against a tree trying not to think of Katherine or her eyes. But while she was doing that someone blocked her light.
