Your name is John Egbert. You and your cousin Jake English are Tricksters, a level 5 demon.... you're also the only two tricksters alive. There's only 5 levels.
Level 1, Goop: Goop is a type demon that can only affect small children and animals. Their lifespans last 2-7 days when they aren't feeding off of people.
Level 2, slime: slimes are like goop, except they can only feast one children of any age, as long as they're below 16. Their lifespans last 4-8 weeks.
Level 3, Water Demons: water demons live up to their names. They look like merpeople and take the blood of anyone that enters their waters.
Level 4, the night prowlers: unlike other demons, the night prowlers can only come out at night. They take the forms of humans, but their ears are slightly pointed and their eyes are grey.
And last but not least
Level 5, Tricksters: tricksters look just like humans. They're impossible to kill. No ones ever lived to tell the tale of meeting a trickster.
Will the Strider brothers change that?
