Harper
As I walked through the front doors of the school, I instantly got stares from the other students. Nothing new. I always get stares from the other students wherever I go. When I finally reach my locker, I let out a sigh of relief because now I don't have to carry around my stupid and may I add heavy textbooks in my bag.
"Hey Harper.", a voice says from behind me.
I turn around and see it's my best - and only- friend, Layla. We've been friends since we were practically in diapers. Our moms were and still are best friends so it's no surprise that we would be best friends too. We tell each other everything so she and her whole family know about my whole "secret identity" thing
"Hey Layla.", I say giving her a hug.
"Is it alright if I come over after school? Since me and the family are coming over for dinner afterwards I might as well go home with you."
"Yeah su-", I was cut off by a group of squealing girls and the sound of the main doors of the school opening.
"Josh is here..", Layla says to me.
Josh Reagan. The hottest and most popular boy in school. He had beach blonde hair and the most beautiful dark
brown eyes that every girl gawked over. Every sport he's played, he excelled. And he has one of the highest grade point average in school. It's amazing how he can have a social life, getting good grades and still manage to get some sleep. His family is really close with mine. He's practically over at my house -with his family of course- at least once a month. And before you ask, no, he does not know about my "secret identity". Only his parents know. Our parents thought it would be a good idea to keep it a secret from his because knowing he's one of the most popular kids in school, he can blurt it out are any moment.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
The school bell sounded, cutting me off from my thoughts.
"Ready to go to chemistry?", I asked Layla.
"Yep."
And with that our day of hell started.
