Johanna's POV
6:34 am
Well today's the big day, the wedding is in six hours. I wish I could just crawl into a whole and die.
My head was pounding from the tequila but thanks to Ethan and his coffee it's not as bad as it would've been if I had kept drinking.
"Jo!" Thea squealed as she jumped on my bed making me bounce slightly.
"Ugh, what?" I groaned burying my head into my pillow.
"C'mon, it's mals big day!" She squealed shaking me. "God, I'm so excited to walk down the isle. Well I'm not getting married but it's a taste of my future" she ranted on and on about getting married and her future Prince Charming but I wasn't into it.
Marriage is kind of creepy, it's like "I love you so much I'm going to get the government involved so you can't leave."
"Johanna!" Thea snapped.
"What!" I groaned sitting up.
"Were you even listening to a word I was saying?" She crossed her arms over her chest.
"You said something about waffles right?" I asked rhetorically. She huffed rolling her eyes before I got up.
I quickly slipped on a bra before brushing my teeth. I then proceeded to head downstairs finding Mal, Cameron, mom, a hungover Alexis, Mrs. Dolan, and Stephanie.
"Did you make breakfast?" I asked mom.
"Johanna, at least do you nails first" Mal pleaded. I said yes because I was guilty about last night, this whole day I will act excited and peppy about everything just so Mal can have her day.
I walked over sitting next to Alexis as Mal and the other girls started talking.
"Ugh, how are you even alive?" She groaned.
"Well, I'm not a lightweight" I chuckled.
"Hanna, come over here!" Malia waved me over. I forced a smile before walking over to her, this is going to take forever.
Ethan's POV
Since the girls would be getting ready at the house dad, Grayson, Andrew, Rudy, and I stayed in a motel.
Not going to lie, I'm definitely having second thoughts. But how could I not? My first love suddenly appears in my life again after years. If that's not a sign I don't know what is.
But it'll be so hard for us to be together, maybe my family will accept after some time. But I have no idea how her family will react.
"Morning groom" Grayson bursted into my room along with Rudy. "How you feeling? It's the big day!"
"I'm great" I gave them a small smile.
"Great?" Rudy spoke up sternly. "Ethan, if you're not into this don't go through with it, I don't want my sister getting left at the alter"
"No, dude, I'm amazing. I'm really excited, actually I'm just kinda tired from last night" I lied.
"Good, now lets go get ready" Grayson smiled brightly before Rudy left.
"Grayson, wait!" I stopped him before he followed Rudy.
"Wassup dude, wedding day jitters?" He sat next to me.
"I don't know if I want to go through with this" I sighed looking down.
"Because of Johanna?" He asked.
"Yes, I mean I find her after all these years and I'm just not suppose to pursue her" I ran a hand through my messy hair.
"Look, this might sound cheesy but, just follow your heart. Don't spend the rest of your life with Mal thinking about what you could've had with Johanna. But don't destroy a great future with a woman that loves you for a fling." He patted my back.
"Damn, when did you get so wise" I chuckled.
"I've always been wise" he shrugged.
"Guess whose here bitches!" A voice shouted. Suddenly James, Bryant, and Ryan appeared. Now this was a party.
Johanna's POV
11:34am
After getting my hair and nails done I was finally aloud to eat. Rudy went and got some McDonald's for us.
I heard three knocks on the door making me jump up from my chair knowing it was Rudy with the food. I almost ran down the hall to the front door.
"You're a life saver" I grabbed the bags from his hands before slamming the door in his face. I scurried back to the kitchen rummaging through the bags before grabbing my grand Mac.
"Where's Zia?" Rudy asked entering the kitchen with an annoyed look on his face. Probably from me slamming the door in his face.
"She's with her parents" I shrugged grabbing some fries.
"So I got dressed up early for nothing" he scoffed. I looked over scanning him. He was a groomsman so obviously he had to wear a tux.
"Looking very dapper, R" I complimented.
"You mean sexy" he fixed his suit winking at Stephanie who was walking by in a robe.
"I meant what I said" I shrugged.
"Oh thank god!" Alexis sat on a stool next to me eating some fries.
"Hey there" Rudy leaned on the side on the kitchen island attempting to flirt with Alexis. "I was feeling a little off today, but you definitely turned me on." He smirked, I just cringed so hard.
"Oh Rudy!" my mom suddenly appeared. "Did that rash clear up-."
"Mom!" He stopped her, his face turning red. I laughed really hard making his face turn redder.
Alexis just giggled quietly.
"Next time I'll let you all starve" he groaned before leaving. I high fived my mom knowing full well she's messing with him.
"Guys!" Stephanie ran into the kitchen. "We need to get dressed like now!" She squealed.
