Smile, wave, run. It's all the same.

Follow what you were taught, be polite, but then quicken your steps. Drop your head, keep quiet.

You smile, wave and laugh through the pain. Wearing that mask so securely no one sees your pain.

Deep down your frozen, numb, sad, depressed.... it all doenst matter.

Be polite they say, make friends they say, have fun they say.

It's only part of the plan. Smile, wave, run. It's all the same.

Your chest tightens, your brains running. Your breath hitches, your body tenses.

But, you smile, wave, laugh through the pain. Wearing that mask so securely no one sees your pain.

Life was so bright, life is so dark. Isn't that funny, things change constantly. Watching things around you fall apart while you mend yourself together piece by piece.

Home is a mystery in your mind. Your lost now, your scared now.

Don't talk, act. Don't cry, laugh. It's all supposed to help.

Why isn't it helping? I thought it was true? Everyone said so.... but, your chest tightens, your brains running. Your breath hitches, your body tenses.

Freeze, walk, cry, laugh, frown, smile, depressed, happy.

It's all the same, wearing that mask so securely no one sees your pain.

Maybe they're blind or maybe you've forgotten what it's like to show yourself.

You smile, laugh, you frown, staying silent. Staring at the world as it passes by.

You feel stuck now, your chest tightens, your brains running. Your breath hitches your body tenses.

But, you smile, wave, laugh through the pain. Wearing that mask so securely no one sees your pain.

Smile........ Wave...... Run......
