Sam

The pounding in my head woke me up, reaching under my bunk I grabbed my cellphone. Four missed calls from Molly. The time was 3:56. I wish I would have packed some headache medecine, I should have remembered, headaches are a constant for me.

I pulled my curtian backto find that no one was awake and the bus was completely dark. The light from my cell cell guided my way to the dining room. The leather on the bench was cool on my skin, I rested my head on the table. A long relaxing gasp of air was realesed when I placed my head on then cool table. My head was instantly feeling better.

Keith

"What should we do with her?" I said. I looked around at George, Emmet, Neil, and Daniel. They were starring at her. She looked beautiful relaxing on the brown table. He hair was slighlty covering her face, along with her legs folded into her chest.

"Should we wake her or let her sleep?" George asked. We all backed away as she moved her arms closer to her chest.

"I think we should carry her to bed." Neil said.

"I'll do it." I offered.

"No, I can do it." Neil said.

"It's ok, Neil." I stepped torwards her but Neil got in my way.

"Boys, stop. Are you seriously battling over who carries her to bed?" Ryan said crossing his arms.

"We'll we have to do something. She can't just stay here. Can she? " I said.

"No, we will flip a coin!" Daniel pulled a penny out of his pocket and started to flip it. "Call it in the air." he said as he tosses the coin up.

"HEADS!!" I yelled.

"I guess tails." Neil followed.

The penny flew through the air and landed on Daniel's hand. We all stepped closer to see what the verdict was.

"Heads." said Daniel.

"I guess I win." I pushed Neil over and wrapped my arms around her waist. She was so light. I lifted her up and started to carry her through the hall.

Sam

I was moving when I woke up.Blinking a few times and saw Keith above me, my arms were wrapped around his neck. His head was looking straight forward, but I could still see his crystal blue eyes. Muscles in his arms moved and flexed he walked, they fit around my body perfectly.

"Hello." I said.

"Oh, um, Hey. You fell asleep in the kitchen." He stopped walking and stood beside my bunk.

"Thanks for carrying me, I think I'm ok now." I said. He gently put my down and stepped backwards.

"Would you like to join us for breakfast? " he asked. Just the sound of breakfast made my stomach growl.

"That would be nice." I followed him into the kitchen, everyone was awake. Did they all see me sleeping?

"Good monring beautiful." Neil said. I didn't know how I felt about Neil. He was really nice and cute, but something was missing.

"Hey, everyone. " I said loudly enough that they could all hear.

"Sorry about waking you. I said we should have let you sleep." Ryan said. His lips were firm and they pressed againist his teeth when he spoke.

"No, it's ok. I just had a headache and the table was cool on my head.." I said. Daniel began to laugh loudly.

"HAHAH!!! That's funny. I thought you were sleep walking." He continued laughing.

"How long until we get there?" Daniel asked. George looked at his watch and opened his laptop.

"Um, around four hours." he said.

"Four hours? God." He continued.

"It will be ok. Time goes by fast when you are eating microwavable burritos. " Emmet laughed.

"Lauren, I thought you would like to start learning some of the songs early, maybe a little practice after breakfast?" He said.

"Yes, that would be great." I replied. We all received a small buttered biscuit and a cup of hot tea. After breakfast Emmet called me to the back room.

"We can start with Black Is The Color." He said handing me some sheet music. I could easily read the music, so I began to play before him. It felt great to play again, the movement of my bow across the strings... just amazing. After a few verses I got the pattern and began to play with my eyes closed.

"That was wonderful." Emmet said when I finished.

"Thanks, what else?" I said. Emmet handed with a thick packet filled with sheets of music. "I guess you don't need my help after all."

"Yes, I will. I'm not as good as they say I am."

"We will see about that. Ok, this song has a tricky heading. " he said. I read the title, Lauren and I.

"Who sings this?" I asked.

"I think it's Keith's." He said as he rested his violin on his shoulder. The words of the song were beautiful, I tried imaging Keith singing them. Placing my violin under my chin I began to copy Emmet's every move. It was so easy getting lost in the song. It seemed like seconds before we were finished with it.

"God, you are really good. I think we are done here." He placed his violin down and stood up. "I'm going to play wii. You should come."

I did.
