His Family

*Paige's POV* 

When I woke up the next morning, Justin was fast asleep next to me, his arm draped over my waist as I faced him. His blond hair was a mess and his nose twitched while he was asleep. As I couldn't help but stare at my boyfriend - oh, correction, my fiancee- I felt my heart swell with the love I had for him. He had been absolutely amazing while I dealt....with what had been my life. I sighed. I'm glad that part of the chapter is over. Robert is gone. The cops are still looking for him. I was safe, happy and most importantly loved by the man who had held me while I had gone through everything. He wasn't perfect, but he was perfect for me. I stretched as I tore my eyes away from J.J. and a soft moan escaped my lips as my muscles and bones stretched and released themselves from the position I had been in.

I gently picked up J.J.'s arm and got out of the bed. I walked to the shower, grabbing a pair of clothes for today while I went. I set them on the toilet before I cranked the water to hot and got in. The hot water was welcomed on my cool skin and I relished the heat as it seeped into my bones. I quckly shampooed my hair and rinsed before I ran conditioner through it. I let it sit as I washed my face and body before I rinsed off again and turned off the water and got out. I wrapped a towel around my body as I shivered at the cool air, the steam still swirling around the air. I stepped forward and wiped off the bathroom mirror and screamed. Robert was standing behind me, a smirk on his face as he checked me out, his eyes slowly dragged themselves up my body before they settled on my eyes. 

"You look ravishing love," he said, stepping towards me. I screamed again. 

* SIKE!!!!!!!!!* 

I sat bolt straight, covered in sweat and shivering. My heart was pounding in my chest and my breathing, if you could call it that, was erratic and my chest heaved with each one I tried to take. Justin was next to me, looking startled as he reached for me. I leaped into his chest, tears springing into my eyes as I tried to calm myself. His arms wrapped themselve around me and their presense gave me a sense of security I needed. 

"What happened?" he asked, softly, breaking the silence that enveloped us. I shivered and huddled closer to him. 

"I had a nightmare," I said. "He came back." 

J.J. stiffened. "He's not going to get near you. I'm here to protect you and I'd die before I'd allow him to ever put his filthy hands on you again," he assured me. I nodded, burying my head in his neck. 

"I know," I mumbled. He hugged me closer and we just sat there for a couple minutes, me revelling in his warmth and presense and him hugging me to his chest. I pulled away finally and got up. 

"Let's take a shower," I suggested. "I don't want to be a lone." He nodded and got up with me, a smile on his face. He took my hand and we walked over there. We stripped down quickly and got in,with him  controlling the water and me behind him. 

While he cranked it to a heat we both liked, I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his back. He chuckled as he rubbed my hands with one hand. I rested my chin there while he finally got it warm enough. He turned around and took me in his arms. He leaned down and caught my lips with his. I kissed him heartily. I loved him so much. He did so much for me. His hands traveled to my butt and he pushed me closer to him. I could feel his member on my stomach. I rubbed against him and he groaned into the kiss. He pulled away, lust filling his eyes as he looked at me. 

"As much as I'd love to, we both have work to do today and one of us has to be there before eight," he said. I pouted as he chuckled. After he kissed me again, we continued on with our shower before we got out and got dressed. We were out of the door within the hour. While J.J. drove me to work, Rude by MAGIC! drifted through the radio. I hummed along. Sooner than I realized, he pulled up to my work. I leaned over and kissed him.
