Justin's POV
Previously on Player 99--
I started to lean forward to kiss him when a voice stopped me.
"STOP!"
My heart dropped as I recognized it. Justin and I turned at the same time only to see Robert at the end of the isle, a gun in his hand and a giant ass smirk on his face. Everyone we invited was turning to see who it was. He clapped slowly three times, the gun making it kind of awkward for him.
"I'm so glad I got her in time to hear that beautiful speech!" he said, his eyes glinting with a plan I'm sure he had up his sleeve. I dropped my bouquet as I tried to breathe, but for some reason my lungs wouldn't work with me. Justin stepped towards me, his arm in front of my torso.
"What are you doing here?" he demanded. Robert laughed.
"Did you think I'd let you take my woman away from me?" he snarled. "No, I wouldn't. I came back to take her and eliminate the one who took her from me." The audience gasped. I clutched at Justin's arm, feeling a bit faint. He turned his eyes on me and brought me to his chest, his arms around me protectively. Robert's eyes darkened at the sight of us.
"Ugh, now I want to puke!" he said, a hand falling to his stomach. "Anyways, I'm going to get right to the point. Paige you're coming with me." Justin shook his head, his body trembling with hidden rage. "Ok, let me rephrase this then. Paige you're coming with me or I shoot everyone in this building, starting with your lover boy?"
*a half hour after Robert showed up at the wedding*
Paige fidgeted nervously next to Rober as he drove, the gun pointed at her while his finger hovered over the trigger. He knew I wouldn't try anything as long as she was in danger. He was right. He had me by the balls where Paige was concerned. I woudln't do anything to put her in danger, or rather in even more danger as of late.Robert didn't speak as he drove us through Downtown. I had no idea where we were going. It was only when he pulled into a familiar garage building did I realize where we were.
Paige's old apartment.
The bastard was taking us back to where it started. Paige realized this and started whimpering and crying, her hands hiding her face as she hunched over in her seat. Robert smirked while he put the car in park. He was doing this on purpose. Bet he figured why not mess with her mentally then physically. I wanted to kill that bastard. He deserved to die. If I have the chance, I'm going to take it.
He grabbed Paige's arm and yanked her over the console and out the door as he got out of the car. Paige cried out in pain and I wanted more than anything to be able to comfort her but the look he gave me told me that if I took one unwanted move that he'd shoot her. He motioned for me to get out of the car and I did, holding my hands up in surrender as I did so. He nodded his head towards the door.
"Start moving." I started walking and he followed. We stopped at the door. "Hit the handicap botton." I complied. "You know where I'm going." I sighed as I started to head towards the place that caused so much trouble for me and my fiancee. He was right on my heels, dragging Paige along as we headed towards our destination. Paige started to struggle the closer we got.
"Please, no," she cried out. "I can't! Robert! I can't! Please n-" I stopped moving at the start of her protests. I heard skin on skin and I whirled around, ready to punch him. Paige was holding her face, blood trickling between the gaps in her fingers. Jesus. How hard did the asshole hit her? I'd gladly have a round or two with him. Show him who's boss. Teach him right.
