Chapter 9

I stood there, shocked. What the fuck? I thought he liked me ..... Jai noticed that i saw and he pulled away from the girl. She was pretty. I looked at him and then walked back inside grabbing Adriana's hand who was dancing with Luke. "WAAA-IT" Adriana said and we walked outside. "I was dancing with Luke" She said annoyed. "And i saw Jai kissing another girl" I looked at her upset. "What?How .... what a cunt" " I know, can we just go" I got my phone out and texted my mum to pick us up. We stood there waiting and then i felt a pair of hands around my waist. I turned around to find Jai. "What do you want?" .... "Look, what you saw...." ... "Just, don't" I turned away. Adriana left us alone and she went to Luke. 

"I like you Avery" He began. "Oh i'm sure you do" I was so pissed off. "I do" He came infront of me. "Then what the hell are you doing kissing another girl?" .... "She's .... she's my --" Before he could finish, my mum beeped. "I have to go" I said and walked to the car. I sat in and we drove off.

"If they are fucking dating, i swear" I finished tying up the string to my pajama shorts and went into bed where Adriana was laying down. "Then why would he like you if he had a girlfriend?" She asked confused. "I don't know" .... My phone beeped, it was a message from Jai. 

Jai-  Avery, i am so so so sorry about tonight. I didn't mean for you to find out this way. Look, that girl that i was kissing, her name is Allie and she's my girlfriend. We have been dating for a few months now. We haven't gone out in public yet so that's why you didn't know. I didn't mean for this to happen i swear. Look, when i met you ... i really started to like you. I really did. None of that was a lie, i swear to you. The movies, everything, i had so much fun with you. You are beautiful, sweet, amazing .. you are just perfect. You are everything i want in a girl. It's been so complicating for me for the past few weeks. I really like you, but i'm dating her. I'm so sorry 

A tear rolled down my cheek and i put my phone down onto the bed. "Ave, what's wrong?" Adriana asked. I handed her my phone and she had a shocked face after she read it. "FUCK AVE, he really likes you" She said. "I don't know" Another tear rolled down my cheek. I feel so used. 

"Are you going to reply?" She asked. "I don't know what to say" ..."Tell him the truth Ave, tell him how you feel" She handed me the phone and then she turned off the lamp and fell asleep. Looks like i won't get no sleep tonight. I just stared at the message, re reading it over and over.
