Chapter 15

LUKE'S POV

I have to go talk to Marissa today. I don't know what I'm going to say to her. I really like Jenn but that's going to ruin our best friend relationship. Marissa and I have been distance for a little while I don't even remember the last time we texted or called each other on the phone. I meet Marissa at her house so we can talk and I can tell her about what happened with Jenn and I, the party and after when were at her house and talking about Ashton. I really like Jenn. Not just as a best friend, more than that I think but I don't think she likes me that way. She has Ashton and I'm not going to get in the way if that if I have a few, or tons of feelings for her. I think about her all the time. We have so much in common and we get along very well.

"Hey Marissa." I say looking at my feet.

"Hi Luke." She says while we walk inside.

"So what did you want to talk about?" She asked.

"What are we?" I ask

"What do you mean? We are friends but I really liked you. I've been seeing some one else and haven't told anyone. His name is Jake, Jake Miller. That's pretty much why we haven't talked in a while. Are you mad?" She says fixing her hair.

"Oh that's actually what I want to talk about. And no I'm not mad. How long have you've been seeing Jake?" I ask

"A couple weeks actually. And I thought you'd be mad, I thought we had something." She says

"Oh. I thought we did too but at Kyle's party I was hanging out with Jenn, we had this plan to see if Ashton actually liked her so we went in the closet first and if Ashton reacted jealous he really like her. He did and after he had sex with this random girl he met that night and lost his virginity. But I think I might like her. Maybe it was the moment or something but I'm pretty sure I have feelings for her like that. We had sex too at her house. Not that night a couple days after when she found out about Ashton, we told each other if she didn't lose her virginity to Ashton we talked about it and since we were both virgins why not us have sex. We always talk about her and Ashton no matter what's it about. I don't want to get in the way of them so I'm probably going to put these feelings away because nothing good can come from this." I say.

"No. Tell her." Marissa says

"Tell her how I feel? Are you mad?" I say shocked at what she said.

"Yeah let her know what's on your mind you guys are best friends." she says.

"Okay I will." I say walking out of her house to find Jenn.

"Thanks." I say waving good bye.

JENN'S POV

I went to Luke's house first. I have no idea what's going to happen with Luke and I from our last time hanging out. When I was thinking to myself starring off into space Luke answers the door.

"Uh hi." He says fixing the top of his hair.

"Uh hi Luke." I say smiling

"Oh come inside." He says gesturing his arm for me to come threw the door.

"So what's up?" he says taking a seat on the couch patting down so I could sit next to him.

"I don't know how to say this." I say looking down.

"Hey, you can tell me anything we're best friends." He says lifting my chin up and pushing hair out of my face causing me to smile.

"Yeah I know. Do you ever think we would ever be more than best friends?" I say

"I don't know. Honestly. I wish I knew because I really like you I just don't know if we are too good of friends." He say looking down.

"Oh" I say

"Yeah. No don't get me wrong I really like you, like I really like you

But I can't." He says

"Can't what?" I questioned

"I can't like you in that type of way, because of you and Ashton." He finally says.

"Yeah, I don't know why but I don't feel the same way about him anymore. Like I know I'll always love Ashton just not like that." I say moving closer to him.

"What do you mean? We always talk about Ashton and you." He says

"Yes I know but after we had kissed at Kyle's party it's been totally different. But it's not just that you know me better than I know myself. Like when I don't want to get up to get a drink you always get one for me. And we have so much in common especially music." I say

"What are you saying?" He asks moving closer and closer to me. So we are side by side sitting back on the couch.

"I'm saying I like you, like I really like you." I say sitting up on the couch, Luke doing the same.
