When did I find out when I was queer? Or bisexual? Aish, I'll never know but here we start from the beginning on how I discovered this amazing community.

So, it was 2015. The media and news outlets were talking about Bruce Jenner's gender reassignment and how he became Caitlyn Jenner. I also saw this video of Caitlyn Jenner getting backlash after transitioning. Someone in the video said they didn't ask for Bruce to become Caitlyn. That honestly struck a nerve with me. What does transitioning into another gender be something you didn't ask for? People are so complicated, man. I didn't really understand it at the time but I decided researching it and discovered what it meant to be transgender. I don't know what happened after that, but then I suddenly knew all LGBTQ terms and different sexual orientations. For as long as I can remember, I've been a straight ally of the LGBTQ community.
Until this year, oof.

No matter what you're going through as a member of the LGBTQ community, just know, you are valid. Don't let people's words get to you. I know they are homophobics, transphobic and people who are just downright hateful towards this amazing community. You're not in the wrong, they are. Stay strong, fighting!
