"What do you mean 'we're gonna die?', Keith?" Kathy said turning her head towards my direction.

Shit did I say that aloud?

"Uh... Yes you did." Fred said.

"That too?" Ugh!

"Yes.." Fred muttered.

"You guys didn't beat him up, right? I mean of course you guys wouldn't ..... Wait... Did you?" Kathy asked quietly.

"Ummm.. No we didn't..." I said.

I really should just shut up...

"Hmmm? No? You guys don't know? Oh Really?" Kathy said turning her attention to me.

"Hehe.." I tried to laugh. "Yeah I don't know."

She then turned to Nat.

"How about you Nat?" She asked. Looking straight at Natasha's eyes.

"Yeah don't know too." Nat said averting her eyes.

"You know? You guys?" She said. "Are such awful liars."

"Why?" I asked innocently.

"Oh come on... Quit the bullshit already." She said and the three of us, visibly gulped. "On my way to the cafeteria I heard a guy talking. He said you three beat the shit out of Erick. He said he saw it! With his own eyes! You guys are lucky he didn't report it! Guys seriously? Why would you do that?!"

I was the first one to speak. "'Cause he tricked you Kathy! Of course we'd get our revenge for you. We're I'm.... I mean we're your friends."

"Yah...." Nat said while Keith just nodded.

"Yes I was hurt but it shouldn't have resulted in....." She stopped for a bit. "That much violence... You could have just confronted him or something.... You didn't need to beat him..." Kathy said a bit guilty looking over at Erick.

"Hey," Nat said. "We are your best friends and we'll do anything for you."

"Awww...." Kathy cooed "Thanks bes..." Then turned to us. "Thanks to you too guys." And enveloped us.

"Group hug!" Nat said.

I chuckled.

Well that was.... Didn't expect it!

Seriously? The guys were beating Erick but when Nat joined... He got knocked out?! Such a wimp!

At first I was really angry when I heard the guy but when my friends told me their side... It was really touching.

Knowing they did it for me.

But it still mustn't have resulted in violence! Seriously.... It was just too much.... -And to think I'm laughing because Erick got knocked out by a girl- violence. Erick's face is just really.... Redecorated... I'm thinking that it'll be a year for it to be back to normal.

Kidding.

It's been a week...

I see him almost everyday. I'd still remember the good memories I have had with him. The fun times we had.

Well, for me it was fun.

I'd still look forward whenever I get to school every morning... Wishing that he'll be outside the school waiting for me.

Nat said, when I cried last Tuesday that I shouldn't be wasting my tears for someone like him. God has a plan for me.

This is just a challenge.

And I'm gonna get through it.

Today is another school day. Keith drove me to school.

I went to my locker and got my math book.

Making my way towards first period class, I saw him straight ahead. And it's weird cause I felt nothing. We passed by each other and I felt nothing.

I think I'm moving on.
