Weeks after Jackie's death Emelia was still hurt but she kept herself locked up in her lab. She didn't really talk to anyone. To further isolate herself, she tested out of high school. She spent her days looking over the security footage. It was hard to try and make out anything through the mask harder with night vision.

"Good Evening Mr. Stark," JAMES comes out over head.

"Hey Dad..." Emelia says eyes on the screen. Tony walks over looking up at the screen. He sighs and looks to Emelia.

"Em...this needs to stop," he says but she doesn't bother looking at him. "We're all devastated by Jackie's death. But cooping yourself up and staring brainlessly at a screen isn't doing anyone good." Emelia looks down. "Emelia..." Tony turns her chair around to look at him and kneels down in front of her taking her hands. "I know you want to find the guys that are responsible for her death. I used to be just like you but, going in with blind rage can cloud your judgement and ruin friendships." Emelia looks up meeting his eyes. "Jackie wouldn't want you to sit around like this. Turn it off and come upstairs for dinner." Emelia curls her lips in and slowly nods.

"Ok..." Tony hugs her close and kisses her head. Emelia smiles faintly as he pulls back.

"And, hurry up too or I might just have to feed the raccoon that digs in our trash again. He's been getting quite the feast lately," Emelia laughs rolling her eyes. Tony smiles and turns walking out.

Emelia turns to her monitors and sighs. She reaches over to turn it off but stops. She quickly switches the cameras from the living room when they were attacked to where they went out. She follows their path and sees van. She could see the faint sign of a symbol on the side of it. She furrows her brows and tries to zoom in on it. She fiddles with the controls enhancing the picture. "Bingo...what are you?" she screenshots the screen and saves it to a locked file while also printing it out.

She finally stands and starts walking to the door. "JAMES shut off power to the lab when I leave."

"Of course Miss," Emelia walks pass a table stopping as she glances at the present on it. It was the one Jackie brought with her that night. She stares at it for a moment before turning and walking out. Lights shut off around the present wrapped in red wrapping and gold ribbon.
