" L I G E I A " ✷ ❅ ✷ In the night sky that I can't touch, I see the darkness and bright stars. The marvel reminds me so much, Of your effulgent jet black eyes. Eyes with an equal that's nonesuch, A wonder that still intrigues me, One that in my heart I still clutch.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This poem was inspired by the short story "Ligeia" which was written by Edgar Allan Poe. I really recommend reading this story in fact any of Edgar Allan Poe's works is a must read for me.
