Chapter 5

Y/N's P.O.V

I heard the sound of muffled voices. Newt's voice came through the darkness. The last few words rang around my head and I forced my eyes to open. I had to let him know. The second my eyes opened I saw him...I squeezed his hand to let him know that I was awake. "Hey shuckface..." I murmured jokingly. His eyes showed a sign of relief and concern. He smiled that smile that makes him so loveable. "Hey love...are you alright?" He asked with concern clearly coming through in his voice. "I'm-I'm fine. I'm sorry about all this..." I apologised for what had happened. What happened must of made him worry out of his mind and that is the last thing I want. "None of this is your fault love...just-just please don't ever leave me like that again. I-I thought I lost you..." I slowly raise a hand and wipe the tears that stained his face away with my thumb. A chill went through my spine as he placed his hand on top of mine. "Newtie...you won't ever loose me. I promise." He smiled once again. "I love you Y/N/N..." I looked down and then looked back into his eyes. "I love you too...I just wish I was saying it under different circumstances..." He laughed slightly, which warmed my heart. "Me too."

Thomas' P.O.V

As I stood outside the door I couldn't help but listen in on the conversation my sister and Newt were having. It was relieving that they finally knew how the other felt. I'm just happy that Y/N is happy and that she isn't broken like she was a few days ago. All I'm hoping is that Newt won't throw everything he and Y/N/N  have over something stupid.

I felt like I had stood outside long enough, so I entered the room and smiled faintly at the sight of Newt and Y/N finally together. They look so overjoyed. It's like...like they complete each other. I snap myself out of my thoughts and clear my throat, breaking the moment. They looked over to me and smiled. "Hey Tommy." Y/N stated with a clear expression of warmth and happiness portrayed on her face making her look like she is finally at peace with herself and this life. "Hey Y/N/N. By the way I'm not mad about this. I'm actually the opposite. I'm glad you guys finally worked this out." As I said that a sigh of relief came from Y/N. "That means a lot Thomas. Thank you and I'm sorry about not telling you about how I get..." I fully understood that she didn't tell me. This tore her up and telling me would of opened up those wounds and I wouldn't want to be the cause of harm toward her. I would of questioned her to the extent she would of dropped down like this. I knew that Newt hadn't questioned her. That's not the sort of person he is.

"I get it. I'm not annoyed Y/N/N. I'm just relieved that your okay. Next time you feel like this will happen again I want you to find me, Newt or one of the Med-Jacks okay?" She nodded slightly as an indication of her  understanding. "I will. I promise you..." Newt looked over to me and said. "Tommy. Thank you for understanding." I sent him a smile. "It's fine. I'm pretty sure every Glader knew you guys had a thing for each other. So, it will be easier to adjust to." With that Y/N yawned. "You should rest. Do you want us to stay?" Newt asked with his usual concern for her lacing his voice. I can tell he won't let her down. I can tell he won't hurt her. "I probably don't get a choice in whether you guys stay or not." I chuckled slightly as her remark. " I'm pretty sure your right there."She shot me a playful glare. "Shut up..." she snuggled down. "I'm always right..."her voice grew quieter as she said that.

Newt's P.O.V

"Night love..." I smiled as she settled down. I brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear and soon enough she was asleep. I kept hold of her hand to make sure she knew I was still there. Tommy kept over and sat down next to me. "I don't think she should work tomorrow. It's been one rough evening for her." Thomas enquired. "I wasn't going to say anything otherwise. I'll keep a watch over her whilst you run tomorrow. We will get her up and around we just won't get her to work. She can come sit by me whilst I work...That sound fair?" I was going to run it by Thomas before I actually took her out of the Homestead. When it comes to her I am willing to go any length to keep her safe and to keep her happy. "That sounds fine. Just make sure no one asks her about what happened. It will probably get her going on a minor panic attack if she goes over those events." I nodded slightly to show I understood. "I will make sure that nothing bad happens to her whilst your out running. Don't worry. She's safe as long as I'm around."

A couple of hours went by and I made sure Tommy slept so he was fine to run tomorrow. But I stayed up to make sure that Y/N slept soundly and that nothing woke her up. I would go to any length to keep her from harms way. This girl means the whole shucking world to me. And nothing will change that. Nothing will change. And that is a promise.

Ahhhhhhhh! It's great to be back. I'm so so so so so sorry that I haven't been releasing I kept going to write and I would get stuck on what to put. It's annoying to put up with this from a readers perspective and I'm sorry. I will release chapters as often/when I can. Thanks fo putting up with me and I will write to you all later.
