"Oliver Wood, you son of a bitch!" I shrieked, wiping my eyes free of the neon blue goo that covered my entire head and body.

Faint laughter was heard as well as a quick flash of a camera.

I growled as I move to stand, only to slip back down again.

Huffing in frustration I scooted out of the goo, kicked off my trainers from his morning's workout and ran after the arse who was booking it down the corridor.

"I'm going to rip your throat out!" I threatened, my feet pounding the stone floors

Wood only barked out another laugh and plunged up the stairs two by two.

That only added to my anger seeing as though I was blessed to have the shortest legs in the bloody world.

"Conjunctivitis!" I shouted, aiming a blinding spell for his head, but his keeping abilities pulled through as he dodged my attack.

The sound of his laughter rang through the empty stair well at this early hour of 7am.

"Densaugeo!" I chanted, throwing another flash of emerald green light his way, he barely dodging my second curse

Taking a sharp left, I slipped on the shiny floor because my foolish self forgot to leave my bloody socks off three flights down, but quickly recovered and was hurrying after the git once more.

The Gryffindor common room not far ahead of us, I called out- "Imperturbable!"

Oliver Wood collided against the new force that I built, sending him tumbling to the hard ground with a loud groan whilst holding his abnormally large head.

"You just can't leave me alone?" I tutted, making slow strides toward him, my wand at the ready.

"Jess, I-"

"Shut up!" I glowered. "You think this-" I gestured toward my sticky, blue hued body. "Is funny?"

He went to open his mouth once more as I took one last step toward him, but closed it immediately.

"Stupefy!" I shouted, pointing my wand at him one last time.

I removed the barrier and left the arse alone in the corridor, roughly slapping away the drips of goo dripping down my forehead.

We'll see who has the last laugh, you bloody Gryffindor.

My eyes fluttered open slowly, the strong scent of disinfectant infiltrating my nostrils.

With a low groan, I clutched my hand over my eyes to cover the bright light that was now shooting a sharp pain through my forehead.

"Oh, good. You're up." Madam Pomfrey's shrill voice said. "Do you remember what happened to you, Wood?"

The mere memory of Jessica Cesari turning her wand on me made my face twist into a scowl.

"Cesari.." I growled, flinging the thin hospital blanket off of my body and forcing myself to stride out of the ward despite Pomfrey's protests.

Fucking Jessica Cesari.

Another growl left my throat as my eyes fixed on the clock just down the corridor.

01:27.

I've been in the hospital for five hours?!

Ignoring the throbbing in my head, I took the stairs two at a time until I was in securely in my dorm.

"Alright, Wood?" Rob spoke, an amused grin tracing his lips as I paced by window over looking the pitch.
