Never End

Namjoon and Yoongi left, but not after catching up with Taehyung. The angel is sad seeing them so down after Jimin's departure. But he knows that they know that it's a part of life and they must go on. They must because Park Jimin will never come back. Maybe he will, but in a new body like Seokjin, who reincarnated into Jin.

Everyone's exhausted for the day and no one argued when Hoseok suggest that everyone go back. Namjoon and Yoongi has a place to stay in the village so all is good.

Except when Taehyung didn't leave.

"Taehyung, we'll discuss things later," Jungkook sighs. He feels stressed from the events that occurred today.

The angel nods, "I know."

"Then why are you still here?"

"Father, he lives here too," Jin answers for him. Jungkook looked like he's thinking about something and a lightbulb soon lights up above his head.

"Wait, Jin, so Taehyung was your imaginary friend when you were little?" he scratched his head. He remembers how he and Hoseok were concerned about Jin because he was still talking to his imaginary friend at around age 10. Guess he never had an imaginary friend after all.

"No, not really," Jin went and linked his arms with Taehyung.

"He's my guardian angel."

Laughs echoed quietly outside the house. Jin squeals when Taehyung splashes him with more water from the pond.

"Stop! I'm going to get a cold!" Jin laughs louder. Taehyung finally stops and the two ride out the last of their laughing session.

Jin felt colder than before and Taehyung pulls him close to try to warm him. The angel doesn't have any body warmth but Jin still appreciates the action.

"You heard what Jungkook said," Taehyung states.

"Yes?" Jin wasn't sure what else to say to that.

"How do you feel?"

"I still care about him," Jin says, thinking back to how Jungkook looked while telling the truth. He was so pitiful.

"Why?" Taehyung says louder than he intended and Jin knows where this is heading.

"I love both of my parents," Jin argues but the angel scoffs.

"Jin, did you forget that Jungkook killed me?" Taehyung's eyes glisten. "Your father kills me and you're just going to act like he did nothing wrong? Forgive him that easily?"

Jin didn't know what to say. Taehyung actually made him rethink his thoughts.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"It doesn't matter," the angel says a bit bitterly, something that Jin never heard before. "I'm going to take what is mine with me in the end."

Jin perks up, "What's yours?"

Taehyung turns to him with a fake smile.

"Seokjin. I'm going to take Seokjin with me."

Jin didn't even have the chance to fully take that in as Taehyung waves a hand over his eyes. The boy felt groggy all of a sudden and the angel catches him when he fell unconscious.

"Jin?" Hoseok calls outside but hears no response. After more tries, he gives up and tells Jungkook to help him find their son.

They set out with a lantern. Hoseok tugs his husband sleeve. "Taehyung wouldn't do anything to him, would he?"

Honestly, Jungkook doesn't know the answer but he replies, "Of course not. If he planned to he would have done it long ago."
