Drunk...

◇°°°◇°°°◇°°°◇°°°◇°°°◇°°°◇

Don't you feel like, when you are solitary, it's like your in a world were, no one is there for you, no one is there to help you, or even save you from catastrophe? I feel that way. I've always been feeling that. Fake friends also. It's not that I don't have friends, it's the friends that I trust the most.

Claire is one of my best friends since evermore. We went to the same preschool together, and since that day we've been bonded. It's like nothing can stop us. Not even god himself. The both of us are inseparable, outrageous!

I hurtle out of bed, listening to my alarm clock, with it's disturbing noise ringing through my head. I looked over at it, gradually turning my head, stopping my eyes at the time. In slow motion, my alarm clock strikes 7:32. My heart racing in trepidation, me breathing stiffly, my eyes fully open.

"I'M GOING TO BE LATE!" I bellow on the top of my lungs, scurrying myself out of bed, scampering and falling over everything. I see my Aunt rushing up the stairs, her hair in a messy bun, eye bags lining with her cheekbones, while a frying pan lays in her hand to strike people out who interfears in her way.

"W-what happened!?" She shrieks at me in her raspy voice. I look out the bathroom door and give her a scoul.

"One, I'm late, two, you smell of alcohol, have you been drinking again? I don't want to see you turning out like Mom and Dad."

My mom and Dad had serious drinking problems...but it wasn't their fault. Bills were piling up on the counter, the stress overload of work, and them fighting every 24 hours, won't go anywhere. I was 8 at the time, and I didn't know what was going on. Not long after my Dad passed away, the Doctor informed us because he drank so much, alcohol, and vodka, his liver shriveled up. My Mom was pregnant and had a miscarriage, and regrettably, she couldn't raise the child, and gave it up for an abortion. She decided to leave me, start somewhere new, and walked away like nothing ever happened. I haven't seen her since, and what has over taken of her.

"Sweetie, don't over think about me, I drink to get relief, and get reassurance of all that stress," She points out, swaying the frying pan back and forth, swatting herself in the head with it.

I catched a glimpse at her face, at how tired she is."But, I don't want to lose another family member. The only one I have."

She approaches, and pats me on the head."Everything will be just fine. Now, please hurry up, I don't want you to be late for school." She walks down the stairs in agony, swaying the frying pan.

I walk into the bathroom, close the door, and lock it. Wandering to the mirror isn't my,"go to" thing at all. But going to the bathroom, and looking myself in the mirror, I feel like the person staring back, isn't me at all.

I look at myself and glance at how self conscious I look, and how my body regulates to other girls in school. It made me think, how all the other girls bodies look so perfect, and how they can get that hour glass shape of a skinny waist? I suck my stomach in, and look."This is how I wanted my body to look like in the first place,"I think to myself out loud. I shake my head, turn on the faucet, take my hands, cup them, and splash my face with cold water.

My morning routine is the same every single day. Getting up in the morning, washing my face, brushing my teeth, brushing my hair, and getting the same sweatshirt and jeans that are the most comfortable for me.

I put on my vans, tie them up in a bunny knot, and pull down my Black American Eagle jeans.

"Hurry up, or I'm leaving you!" My Aunt hollers at me. I think she's still a little drunk. Not to mention, her hitting herself with a frying pan.

"I'm coming!" I start hurdling myself down the stairs and out the front door, one back pack strap on, ready for the place we all call...hell.
