Day dreaming about love in class, thinking about all the stress that's going on, never turns out the same.
"Sienna!" Alex calls out to me as I'm walking out the front door of the school. I turn around to face him, and sigh, still knowing my eyes are puffy and red from crying.
"What?" I say in frustration of what he wants.
"Are you ok?" He tilts his head and stares at me, studying every detail on my face.
"I'm fine, you know that." He scoffs and nods in disagreement.
"No, Sienna, I didn't know that. You bailed on me after Claire started to talk to me out of nowhere. What's up with that?"
"Nothing, alright? It's just..." He starts to smirk. He points to me, as he does that kawaii thing anime girls do, by placing there hands on there waist, looking from down below.
"Are you jealous?" He chuckles.
"I'm not jealous. I'm just tired of everything that's going on. About the necklace, my Aunt drinking, and now about the stupid letter."
"I was wondering..." He pauses,"Could I sleep over once again tonight?"
"What about your grandma. She's going to be alone at the house?"
"She won't be at the house at all." He bows down his head and fiddles with his fingers.
"Why? What do you mean?" He looks up at me, and I can tell he's about to shed a tear from one of his eyes.
"My grandma is at the hospital." I look at him in shock.
"Oh my God, what?! What happened?!" I holler at him, and almost cry myself.
"I went into her room last night, and found her on the ground, having a seizure. I called 911 and they rushed her to the hospital as quick as they could. They wouldn't allow me to go with her, so I stayed for school purposes."
"Oh my God, Alex, I'm sorry, I-I didn't know." I say stuttering. I've been so mean to him, and I haven't been treating him like a friend to me. God.
"Don't feel bad. They called, and said she's going to be alright, but as of right now, I'm mostly worried about you."
"Alex, I said I'm fine." I say, furiously, as I give him the death stare.
"Fine, whatever you say." He walks past me.
"By the way, your allowed to come over."
Oh, thanks for the offer, I'll gladly take it."
I smile back at him. I need to do what's right here, everything for him.
