Listen...

I wish someone was here to save me from this disaster of a life I face. If Auntie never adopted me, and I stayed with my mom, holding her back on leaving, then right now, I'd be safe, hugged and loved, since my Aunt never gives me that love or affection.

I lift myself off the ground and go to sit on my queen sized bed. I look around my room, and decided to just lay down. I take my hand, and stick it in my pocket, fiddling around to find Alex's phone number.

I take out my phone, unlock it, and put in Alex's phone number, and dial it. It starts to ring.

"Why am I so nervous? It's Alex," I say loudly to myself. He picks up and I hear his calming voice over the phone.

"Hello?" He says.

"Hey." I wipe the rest of my tears, just to make sure I don't start crying all over the bed while on the phone.

"Decided to call. You found my number in your pocket?" He giggles. His voice is so sweet, just like an angels. It's so comforting to me.

"Yea. I pulled out my phone, and then a piece of paper fell out, so I saw it was yours."

"Ah, alright. So what's up? Why'd you call?"

"I just need someone to talk to, since my Aunt is busy drinking, and won't listen to me."

"So you decided to call me. I like that." I chuckle.

"I can't go talking to my Aunt. Me and her got in a fight, minutes ago..."

"About what?" I sigh, and turn around on my bed, my stomach laying flat on it, my back catching the cold breeze of my opened window.

"I asked her a dumb question, which I regret saying now."

"Let me guess...You talked about your dad?"

"I specifically told her if she knew anything that my dad might of done badly before passing away?" He listens, silence on the other end,"And she told me,"like what," and I replied saying if he was in some kind of cult."

"Mhm." He stays quiet listening.

"Then she started screaming at me out of nowhere, saying that there is no such thing as a cult my dad was in, and to get over him, cause he's dead."

"Why would you ask that?" He says, hollering at me, raising his voice.

"Because my Aunt could have some important information on everything, since they are brother and sister, connected by family."

"Your right. Sorry, but if she did know anything, why didn't she tell you?" I hear him sigh, then shift.

"I don't know. We can't assume anything, since she probably doesn't know about this." I bring my hand up to my face, and look at my ring finger. Placed on there is my dad's wedding ring that my mom let me keep after dad passed away. I chuckle and give a little squeal. Alex doesn't do anything, and stays quiet.

"Sienna?" Alex says. His voice sounding droopy, like he's about to fall asleep.

"Yea?" I turn over and face my phone, that's placed on my bed.

"If-you need anything...I'm here for you..." He says, pausing between some words. He groans as he gets closer to the phone.

"Thanks Alex. I appreciate it," I say and giggle.

"Mhm." I hear him sigh, then stay in silence for a while.

"Should I hang up or-," He cuts me off.

"No...let's stay like this for a while longer..." I agree and we stay in silence. Just in case, I take my charger and plug in my phone. Then lay back down and look up at the cieling. I just zone off, forgetting Alex was on the other line of the phone.

I begin to get droopy and my eyes began to shut, then I turn around, and let my eyes fall into darkness...
