I had never seen someone eat as much sugar as Luke did during the hour I hung out with them before heading home.

Don't get me wrong, I love sugar as much as the next girl does, but wow. He was super hyper. Like, bouncing off the walls hyper.

I was exhausted just watching him.

After I said goodbye to the guys, I took my time heading home.

Once inside, I proply triped.

Over my shoes.

Which I just took off.

Grumbling, I placed them near the door and melted onto the couch, closing my eyes.

It wasn't long till I heard a key in the door and a couple seconds later, Even walked in talking on his phone.

"Ya man, I hear ya. Tell Jade I'll see her soon." Even said before hanging up."Long day babe?"

I heave a heavy sigh, eyes staying shut. "You have no idea. I thought People would never stop coming in."

He chuckled. "I told you you don't have to work there anymore, I make more than enough to support us. You can stay home and relax."

My breath caught and I froze but thankfully he didn't hear it. "I would be board within hours. Plus I love working with Phil and I enjoy helping people."

He had been trying to get me to quit since we moved in together. The nieve part of me wanted to believe it was because he cares and didn't want me oertxing myself, but another part knew it was because he didn't want people to find out he isn't always the perfect nice guy.

Even grunted. "Give it time babe. You'll see it my way."

I made an noncommittal noise and opened my eyes. "How was your day?"

"It was good, still trying to get that promotion, but I don't know, the job has gotten boring." he said flopping down beside me.

I flinched when his elbow hit one of the tender spots on my arm.

"Why did you flinch?"

"I'm sorry Even. Your elbow hit tender spot, that's all." I said softly.

"So it's my fault then?" he asked, voice raising slightly. "I shouldn't have sat down is that what you are telling me?"

I felt the blood leave my face. "NO! No babe, it was my fault, I should have moved out of your way. I'm sorry."

That calmed him down. "It's fine babe. Your really should be more careful."

I got up slowly. "What would you like for dinner?"

"I'm in the mood to go out tonight. How bout you go put on something nice and get all dolled up and I pick the place."

I brightened a little. We didn't go out much anymore, so this was exciting.

"Sure! I go right now, when should I be ready to leave?" I asked, a quiver of excitement in my voice.

"I'll make the reservation for an hour and a half from now, which will give you plenty of time to get ready." Even said, standing as well.

"Sounds good!" I said as I practically bounced to our room.

Dinner was... Nice for a change.

Evan chose my favorite restaurant, a little hole in the wall Italian place. We were just finishing up dinner when I heard a familiar voice behind me which caused me to freeze for a millisecond.
