Hikaru searched online if there was any site that would allow him to play go. Sadly there wasnt, but Hikaru being a genius in computer he decides to make a game about go. He programmed the game as mmorpg and decided that it would have features like allowing the players to create their own characters. Since it was a game about go, Hikaru programmed it to play go, but of course Hikaru knew that he cant make a game about go without even knowing it so he needed to study more about go, especially since Sai was a thousand year old ghost, he knew there would always have some changes in games.
For the past months Hikaru studied go and the titles, the tournaments, the series, and modern go. Of course Hikaru also tried really hard to balance his lifestyle since his mom would threaten him again if he failed his classes again, though Hikaru was still doing some parkour and stunts with his friends which Hikaru would always get his ear drums exploded cause Sai would berate him not to mention also his mom.
On the bright side.
Sai was teaching Hikaru go, and that he was making a fast progress. Since Hikarus grandpa didnt allow him to take the go board in the shed, him and Sai were playing at the game Hikaru made, Hikaru had no problem with it since it would almost count as running down a test in the game, though it was not yet released in the public since it had some major bugs and all, but since him and Sai played everyday with it Hikaru managed to fix the bugs that keeps on showing up and that the only problem was the AI practice mode and such. But out of all, Hikaru was making good progress in go and the program.
Sai was happy to know that people still loved to play go, one person caught his interest and that was the current person holding the meijin title Touya Kouyo.
Sai knew that man was also striving the same goal as him. The Kami no Itte. Sai asked Hikaru if he could play the man, of course Hikaru would get mad and explain to Sai that it would take a while for him before he could play the Meijin. Sai had no other choice but to wait for Hikaru to finish his work in his computer.
After almost a year of programming Hikaru almost turning 9, decides to release the game in public but still in beta, since Hikaru knew there was still some bugs, but nonetheless it was still playable. Hikaru was the game admin and that he added the feature that allowed people to play him only when the sign shows the "Admin is online". Hikaru also made sure that his location and other private information about him is concealed so that it wont be hacked easily. Of course he also holds the accounts of players if something goes wrong or if someone tries to hack the game etc.
And starting from that day. The Admin Sai started catching the attention of the go pros.
