'This kid doesnt know anything about what Ive been through!!!'

"You better beat that Touya kid!! You must get the number one spot ok!!!"
"But dad, he's too strong!!"
"No kid is unbeatable. Now go out there and show him how its done!"

Since the beginning Ive always wanted to play shogi, but my dad insisted and forced me to play go instead.
As I became an insei, his first order was for me to attain the number 1 spot on the class.
But since Touya Akira was there, I could only stay on number 2.

"I dont want someone in my household who cant become the top of the class."
"Y-yes dad."

After Kagas dad walked away he started walking back to the insei room only to stumble upon Akira standing with his back facing the wall.

He realized that the young Touya had heard every word his father had just said.

"Well you're just strong, so dont mind about what my dad said. Now be prepared cause Ill be taking that number one spot!"
"......"

Akira stared at Kaga and could only nod as an response.

'He!!! This isnt his play!!!!! He's much stronger than this!! Is he toying with me!!"

"1 and a half moku win..."
"Thank you for the game." Akira bowed
"Grr!!! ARE YOU TOYING WITH ME!!!!"
Kaga quickly stood up making some of the stones fall down from the goban.

Some students immediately looked at where the source of the noise was coming from.

'The hell!!! And here I thought of him as an rival!!!! And him, he doesnt even care about us. Win or lose, the results doesnt affect him!!!!'

"Tsk!"

Kaga left the room leaving some confused looking insei.

After the fuss, Kagas father decided for him to leave the go class, he knew that his son wont be attaining the number one spot with the young Touya attending the class.

It gave Kaga the chance for him to learn shogi, but his win from Touya left an bitter feeling to him.

'But this kid is good. His way of holding the stones still needs some practice, but his play is strong.'

'Hah!! Too bad boy, wrong move there. Ill be making your bad move into good use!'

'This boy is almost as if on par with Touya Akira. I didnt expect him to read that far ahead!'
Tsutsui thought that Touya Akira was the only kid in Japan to be able to play on par with a pro. Now he knows he was wrong upon seeing the other kids play.
