Chapter 15 - Nicole and Taylor Planet Kairos 2018

When the ships had arrived, the Space Queen's ship went very fast to escape.

On the intercom, they announced "Will all passengers make their way to the cyro-chambers for the hyperspace journey?"

The classmates looked confused. They looked around, as if expecting more explanation in the empty hall, until the robotic attendants came to take them away.

"It would be best if you did not resist as to help you not age in the hyperspace jump."

Nicole gave Taylor a look as she was dragged away, and she got a quick view of Earth before it was slowly shadowed by the Reptilian ship.

"All attendants please check hall for hyperspace jump."

Taylor was lifted into the chamber.

"Take a deep breath."

Fluid filled her lungs.

...

"Now arriving at Kairos. Please listen to the following safety instructions: Deck 1 left and right hand quadrant will be at Gates A and B for departures. Deck 2 at C and D. For all other passengers, please report to gate 3. For non-travelers, please ignore this message."

Taylor found the signs above the hall which led her right, right, left, and then straight onto a small room where her classmates waited.

Nicole instantly hugged Taylor.

They sat and trapped themselves in.

Marvelosa casually strolled in and waved at her classmates.

"Where the hell have you been?

"I'm sorry" she said. "It was easier for me to hire mechanical engineers to override the ship's interface system, as the previous owner had purposed it for extreme surveillance and it wasted a lot of power. This is better for emergencies.

"Have you experienced this a lot?"

"Tons" she answered. "You would be surprised when taking a wrong turn in hyperspace jump and all of a sudden, a galaxy's ruling forces would detect and declare war on you."

There was a glowing and overdeveloped planet ahead. The buildings and statues towered over the breathable atmosphere, being able to be seen from above the planet's contour.

"Planet Kairos was originally an origin of the intergalactic empire. It was a planet of warring space dynasties, and many persons with magical powers. Some people you may know as Krishna, Gabriel, or Hera perhaps? These dynasties have made their way to separate galaxies to keep the peace, but now it is mostly a tourist joint."

A statue of Poseidon rose to meet them as they began their descent into the planet. A warship flew in front of them, searching. Then it latched on, grabbing E deck and bringing it to a prominent gold palace. They landed. A carpet was spread and guards waited along the sides. They stomped their staff as the gate opened.

"All hail Marvelosa Reina, Queen of Zaffaria. Descendent of Diana."

Marvelosa walked through briskly, her blue dress trailing the floor, and her expression unreadable. The ballroom doors opened to reveal a council of 9. Some had animal faces, others had skin both purple and blue. Each was a representative of the galaxies of the empire. A blonde woman sat above them, her hair littered with flowers and her body peeking out of her dress.

"Each year, the council downloads the mind of a deity of old to manifest in the flesh. They exist consciously on a supercomputer, but nobody knows how real they are or not."

"Aphrodite" greeted Marvelosa.

"Hello daughter of Diana. What brings your people here? a lack of taming of their cannibal spirit, leading to a planetary crisis?"
