Two days passed since the letter and (y/n) was currently sitting in the garden. She tried to find some peace in this place since she couldn't sleep at all... She was still trying to figure out what to do. She thought about going to see her friend, of course. But how ? She had to hide it from Sinbad, the king of the country she was in. She could go on a ship but there aren't any boats that went to the kingdom of Adjaya. She could fly but it will take a lot of magoi considering the distance between the two country, she will most likely collapse on the floor, if not the sea... "God, I'm so useless !" she whispered-yelled, blaming herself for being weak. She sighed exasperatedly, lying on the grass.

A white fluffy rabbit with a black crescent moon-like mark on its side jumped beside her head, and began to rub its face on her nose when she turned to see him, as if he was trying to soothe her. She smiled, but it quickly faded.

Almost five minutes passed as she finally thought about something.

"... No..." she said as she sat again, she looked to the bunny which looked at her not really knowing what the human was saying. "No I can't do that."

"What can't you do ?" a voice she knew too well came behind her.

He scared her, she was so lost in her thought she didn't expect someone to respond. The poor girl let out a squeak when she heard the voice, and the bunny quickly found his way on (y/n)'s lap, trying to hide from the male behind her. She took the small furry ball in her arms and got up and slowly turned to see the man who was now smiling at the sight in front of him.

"I didn't know you could scream with such a high-pitched voice. You're always so calm. " He mocked.
"You just scared me, Sinbad..." Of course, it had to be the man she wanted to meet the least who heard her... He suddenly became more serious and put his hands on her shoulders. He looked concerned.

"You've been kind of... disturbed these past two days (y/n). Is something wrong ?" He brought his face slightly closer to hers, looking intensively in her (e/c) orbs as if he was searching what was happening in her head. The (h/c) woman gently put Sinbad's hand away stepping back a bit as she looked at him with a sweet and reassuring smile on her face.
"Do you know about personal space Sinbad ?" He laughed at her question.
"Usually girls don't mind when I do that." He smirks. He was not called the Lady killer of the Seven Seas for nothing... "But hey, you didn't answer my question."
"Well, I guess I'm not like those girls. And it's nothing to worry about."
"You don't have to lie, I'm your friend (y/n)..."
"It's nothing, really. I... I just have a lot in mind." Sinbad looked at her, expecting her to tell something more, but she kept silent and looked away. He truly was concerned for his friend.
"Well..." He sighed. "If you don't want to tell me what's happening, I won't insist, but just know that the generals and I are willing to help you if needed. You're a part of the family after all. The bunny too, he seems to like you a lot." He smiled to her and walked back to the palace after she told him she will skip breakfast to sleep a bit.

She sighed. Why was he so kind ? She was about to tell him everything if he had stayed for one more minute...

(y/n) lay on the bed and swiftly fell asleep along with the rabbit which found its way in her arms. She slowly woke up almost two hours later. She stretched and sat on her bed, she patted the fluffy ball beside her. "Guess we have something in common." She said quietly, noticing the mark on its side.

A chirping sound drew her attention toward the windowsill.
"Hey hey, little bird... You came from Adjaya... I'm guessing you have something for me." She assumed, looking for a message to be delivered. The winged animal flew as soon as she took the small paper attached on his right leg. She returned to her bed, sitting on the edge and read.

The message was simple and clear.

"We need you here, (y/n), come as fast as you can."

She didn't know who wrote this, it wasn't Suvira's handwriting. It might be a trap... Or it could be the king... "But why would he want me ?" she thought, frowning. The letter her friend sent worried her to the bone. A trap, or her king calling for her, either way the possibility of her kingdom being in danger was too big to just be ignored. The magician ponder for a while, until Pisti barged in her room. (y/n) barely had time to hide the paper under her cushion.

"Oh ! You're awake !" the blondie chimed. "Do you have something to do until lunch ? Would you like to hang out with me ?" She asked, not waiting for an answer. The little blondie already took her hand and dragged her outside of her room. The magician didn't complain though, Pisti had a somewhat peaceful aura around her even though she liked to tease (y/n) about how cute Ja'far and her are together, she even went as far as to talk about how their children will look like once, causing the magician to avoid the said boy for three days.
Since they shared the same passion for animals the two girls decided to go to the forest. Pisti could be a pain in the ass with how energetic she was, but it was always relaxing to spend time with her, especially when there were animals around them.

*Le time skip because they just joined the other and ate, nothing happened*

After lunch, (y/n) went to train her magic skills with Yamuraiha. Since she had known her, (y/n) had always admired the talented and strong general. She was a genius and had created things nobody thought of. It amazed her. The blue haired magician was always happy to be of help when it came to magic so she eagerly took the (h/c) girl under her wings when (y/n) asked her years ago. Yamuraiha even considered her as her precious apprentice, even though she was only three years older.
The training went as always, and that meant (y/n) and Yamuraiha will tease each other with either Sharrkan or Ja'far between two spells or compliments.

"Yamraiha !" A soldier interrupted "You're needed in the palace right now. A southern creature appeared !"

"I'm sorry (y/n) I have to go ! We'll continue tomorrow if that's okay !" The general said apologetically.
"It's okay, I had something to take care of anyway." She smiled.

"A southern creature, huh ? It means mahrajan tonight... What a perfect timing." (y/n) thought as she entered her room.
