(Honestly, I don't really know where I'm going with this story but I enjoy writing it lmao)
Let me just say one thing about your kingdom. It's basically inspired by those beautiful sceneries and costumes you can see on some Bollywood movies.
That's all I have to say, enjoy your read~

(y/n) snuck in Yamuraiha's lab. She planned on stealing one of her flying carpet since it was the fastest solution for her to go to her homeland. After what felt like hours, she finally found it -well, her rabbit found it to be totally honest-. She reluctantly took it. After all they did to her, the poor magician felt bad to just steal them and leave them.

Back to her room, she prepared herself to fly, but as she did so, she was beginning to doubt. She quickly shook her head, no, stepping back wasn't an option, her homeland needed her. She will go, no matter what.

Not wanting the generals and Sinbad to look after her, she decided to leave a small message, even though she knew it was useless.

As she sat on the carpet, the rabbit hopped on her lap, she didn't want to go with her pet, but he was determined to stay with her so she let him, hoping it will be okay for the both of them. She looked down on the joyous Sindria, thinking about her friends she was leaving, tears streaming down her face.

"I hate that I love this place... I'm sorry everyone..."

*** let's just say she slept on the carpet*** (she almost fell off the carpet)

The sun was rising when she landed her feet on her dear homeland. She hasn't been in Adjaya for so long, but she remembered everything about her kingdom as if she had left just yesterday, yet as she walked toward the closest town, she noticed how everything seemed different. The tension was unbearable, the calm so loud. Back when she was there, every street was filled with music, laughter, dancers, artists... And it was so colourful !

Every colour had faded, everything was so dull. Nothing could be heard but the flying birds and some other animals hunting down their prey. Every house was destroyed and so were their owners.

Tears started to roll on her cheeks as she kept moving forward.

She stopped moving when she heard footsteps coming from everywhere around her, spears threatening her life.

"Decline your identity !" a tall tanned man, with black hair and matching eyes commanded.

"I am (f/n) (l/n)." the magician answered calmly. The (chief)'s brown eyes widened when he heard her name, and commanded to his men to withdraw. She gave him a weak smile as the man stood in front of her.

"It's been a while, Vahitr."

"Indeed, it has..." he said, frowning before turning, his back facing her. "Follow me, I'll lead you to Suvira." He said in a cold tone. She silently sighed "He's still upset..."

"What... What happened here ?" (y/n) asked, breaking the silence that had fallen.

"Suvira will explain it better than me." He answered still coldly, making the silence hang in the air once again...

The both of them arrived to the capital, the place was still as colourful as the magician remembered but the people were all dull because of the kingdom's situation... There were guards everywhere, nobody was dancing, nor singing or even playing. It was almost ironic to see such a vibrant landscape beside those lifeless inhabitants.

Arriving in front of the palace's gate, the guards let them in, they walked through the long corridors to attain the Adjayan princess's room. Vahitr knocked on the refined wooden door. He waited for an answer before opening it, revealing the brunette princess working on her desk. She was so busy she didn't even look up when the two entered.

"Do you need something ?" she asked absentmindedly.
"Suvira..." (y/n) said. The princess put down her quill, looking up to see who was talking, her hazel orbs met (e/c) ones, and without hesitation, she stood up and rushed toward the magician, pulling her into a tight hug.

"(y/n)... What are you doing here ?" she asked, her eyes tearing up.
"I missed you too..." the (h/c) haired woman answered, hugging her back.
"I told you not to come !" Suvira scolded her friend, after pulling apart .
"How could I ? I'm a part of this country you know." Vahitr huffed at those words.
"Really ?" he said venomously "Why did you left your beloved country then ?"
"Now is not the time to quarrel about that." The brunette intervened before (y/n) could reply "Since you're here, I have to tell you. You have the right to know..."

The morning following the marahjan festival, all the generals were, once again, panicked because of their healer magician.

This day, Sinbad and all the general were gloomy, and the atmosphere in the palace suffered from their mood. Everyone could tell something went wrong, even though they tried not to show it. Not even a day passed by, but they already felt her absence. It was like a hole in their hearts. Every day she would talk to them, to check on them "because being a general must be exhausting" as she would say. She would even sing them to sleep when they couldn't.

"She left." Ja'far said to everyone in the room, emotionless.
"Are you really sure... ?" Pisti asked "Maybe she's in the forest, like last time ?"
"Yes, she left a note." The pale snow haired man replied, showing them the message she wrote.

I'm sorry to leave you all like that. I like you all, I really do... And believe me I didn't want to leave but I had to. I don't even know if I will be able to come back, but please, I beg you, don't try to find me.

Ja'far didn't know what to think about all this situation. He thought she loved him, was he wrong ? Would she have stayed if he had the courage to confess ? (JAFAR T_T ( <- this is a message from my friend and beta reader))

Sinbad remained silent as he let the generals discussed, his fingers intertwined in front of his mouth, lost in his thoughts. Where on earth could she be ? He obviously thought about her homeland, but why did she "had" to ? Why wouldn't she be able to come back ? He was more worried about this part... He snapped back to reality when someone called his name.

"You didn't say a word, are you thinking of something ?" Drakon asked.
"Yes," the king sighed. "We'll be sailing to her homeland as soon as possible."
